Jeez, please. Stop posting this crap form Neogaf. Look at the join date of this guy who posted this bullsh*t. THERE IS NO DELAY as long as Rockstar doesn't announce it. Moreover, as somebody told here before. Rockstar is very secretive and if you take a look at the employee reviews here (http://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Rockstar-Games-Reviews-E20887.htm) you will see that sometimes even devs don't know on what they're working on. It's almost impossible that some random guy on the Internet know something like this.

This thread is turning completely f*cking ridiculous or has already I should say.

 

- There is literally NO REASON to fear a delay right now.

- They will NOT delay the Steam version but not the physical. Valve wouldn't stand for that for one, and for two its something that has NEVER happened before. It's probably one of the top 3 stupid things said in this thread over the last week. If Take Two/Rockstar even attempted that, Valve would pull the game. Ubisoft tried some sh*t with its 3 big games over the fall and Valve pulled them immediately and then they came back after they ironed it out. Valve stand to lose money in a big way if this was going to happen and we know Gaben likes to eat. This "opinion" is so f*cking dumb we're all dumber for even acknowledging it.

- Almost every piece of credible evidence that has been revealed or discovered in the last 2-3 weeks has pointed to the game being on time.

 

There is literally nothing anyone can use as evidence of a delay right. Everything that people are pointing to can be explained. Lack of requirements and a pre-order is not evidence of a delay. There have been countless examples of games, even Rockstar's own games, not having this information until closer to release than we even are now. Rockstar don't reveal even BIG things until close to and they did it to console owners as well. 6 days for XB1/PS4 digital pre-orders. 2 weeks for first person mode. There's precedent here by the company.

 

Rockstar have too many business partnerships that a delay at this point NEEDS to be announced already to give them time. If its already manufactured (and it almost assuredly is), that makes the chance of a delay infinitely less. A delay can always happen at any time, but to keep harping on it at this point? Just stop. There's no tangible evidence of one.

I work at internet-shop and we contact with publisher in first numbers of DECEMBER 2014! And i can say "The retail version will contain 7 DVDs."

7 DVDs is not a surprise at all. It's an easy # to surmise since the PS4 version is 50 GB and the PC version is "next gen".

 

If you figure dual layer discs at 8.5 GBs per (and none of the discs will use all of it because of the file sizes), 7 is just what it needs.

I'm not saying its going to be delayed (far from it) but this is old news to most of us.

 

At the very least, PC Gamer is HUGELY known, so maybe this gives Rockstar a kick in the butt to actually, y'know, release some info lol

Only 3 and a half weeks ago their stance on PC was "we hope to have spec requirements in the next week!"

 

3.5 weeks later they haven't even whispered PC.
