Well sorry for the missunderstanding then :)

Good for you though you won't pre order from that website.

Noone should use those websites before the game gets properly announced :)

Np my friend :) .The only thing I hope at the moment is that R* optimizes the game properly and the requirements aren't heavy.

I really hope so :3

Well if Max Payne 3 has anything to go by we shouldn't have anything to worry about. It's the same team plus additional PC coders that had previous experience with releasing AAA titles (as per the job description from R* a while back). I also reckon online heists will be launched at the same time, or VERY closely after GTA V PC is released.

Not only that but the Witcher 3 requirements are out and they are surprisingly low for a game like that...

GTA V should be a little lower graphical-wise.... Processor-wise it should be similar...

My opinion though.

out of curiosity how long was it before its release that max payne 3's system requirements were released? perhaps this might give us an idea about GTA 5's

I posted this on the System Requirements thread but they were 2 weeks before the May 15th release date which was pushed to June 1st a few days prior to that.

Things like Witcher 3 will probaly have a change at some point since it rolls out in May, GTA V won't

Specs - May 25, 2012

Release - June 1, 2012

So, one week

Actually, the initial lowest/highest tested system specs were revealed back in April.

Looks like the lowest/low/high/highest recommended specs were revealed later on.

Interesting. One week would give me plenty of time to update/upgrade my rig.

No. They were posted for the 1st time on April 23rd. And 1 June worldwide release date was already confirmed since March I think.

EDIT: Someone was faster :\

I don't know why GTA V PC didn't follow suit. Maybe it's a port after all. :/

Don't you dare look at me like that for uttering the word "Port".

It is not a port, that is definite.

It is really a mystery why GTA V has had it's announcements and system requirements held back. There is not any reason and the lack of infomation only points to hype building at the moment. Unless something is being hidden purposefully, but that does not add up, unless things look bad for our version in optimisation terms....

Not that I don't trust you but how do you know for sure GTA V is not a port?

If you have evidence of that it would be amazing news... at least for me!!

Build log is your evidence. However, there's still no proof for the game to be not a port.

There is no proof.... But look at the evidence we do know.

1 : The New-Gen version had no inclination it was being built, until it appeared at E3. It pointed to a port of the PC builds. Even the lighting in trailer has been called into question and appears to be edited to a false level. Some still believe it was not filmed on PS4 as it was claimed.

2 : The Last-Gen builds are pretty basic, compared to the New-Gen builds and again this points to a port. Since both New-Gen consoles have a basis in PC kernals, conversions are easier and quicker than before.

3 : The PC version has been built on since the launch on Last-Gen. It was pretty finished some time ago and must have had serious work on in the intervening time. It was probably easier to take the final data and start from scratch.

If anything, R* might try to claim it is a New-Gen port, but it is fairly clear the reverse is true.

We dont get anything today?? What do you think?

Maybe, but I doubt it. I think we will have to wait until next Tuesday or so. If they still don't announce anything next week then I will become worried. :(

Lol, InsideGamer is not the only one saying that PC screens have leaked, PU.nl says the same thing, but they also have changed the title to 'possible".

It's funny though, I know those screens are fake, but still those journalists/bloggers/news publishers think that they are real because someone posted some pics on a forum XD.

This is incredible how much players SA:MP got, as an unofficial multiplayer "mod".

Not counting MTA.

That's true aswell. I still enjoy playing some SA-MP sometimes. :p

People are already working on some unofficial GTA V MP Mods aswell. Let's hope they will become as popular and as stable as SA:MP, and not like IV Multiplayer mods (the last time I tried one of those, they were really bad).
