That's the weird thing I'm pointing out. It's really being released Jan 20th, so it's in the right spot, but it says January 26th. I just find it to be incredibly odd.

Actually, now that I think about it, this is a good thing. It proves that there are multiple "dates" for any given game. If it only had one date, it would use the "internal" date, or the one plastered all over the store page and not this retarded incorrect date. Given this, it's safe to say that GTA V IS set to January 27th internally, but Rockstar being the c*nts they are keeping us in the dark, have yet to set the public release date to the proper one. What a cluster f*ck. Is it really so f*cking hard for them to keep us posted and just commit to the god damn date they set? You can't even f*cking say it isn't intentional. Of course it is. They HAD to update it to January 30th when Jan 1st rolled by and the Dec 31st internal date slipped. That's when GTA V was placed in the upcoming list after games that came out on the 30th and before February 1st. Then after a day or so they set it to January 27th, evident as it is after a game released on the 26th and before the 30th. So clearly they were there, editing the f*cking Steam data for the game, yet they couldn't be f*cking arsed to update the public date. That's cold. F*cking cold.

 

I don't think if "Saints Row" is a good reference in our case (trust the upcoming list from Steam), because the release date have changed many times (probably to release SR: Gooh before GTA5).
In the "Upcoming page", we see "Jan 26, 2015", but we also can see (on the SR: GooH page):

This is a joke, like the GAT V expansion pack. The release dates are January 20 in the Americas and January 23 in other countries.

Actually I've got a life (and a quite busy one in fact)

 

Got two music bands (which I am actively rehearsing and songwriting with), a girlfriend, I own a home studio (in which I'm recording one of the band's album, new demoes and stuff for other people) and studies and classes to attend.

 

 

My intention with the last post was to make people laugh a bit from this bullsh*t waiting. I actually kinda had that day a couple times during the Christmas holidays, since I had absolutely nothing to do and I was bored as f*ck at home hahaha.

There won't be retail Steam version. You'll propably get CD-Key from R* partners - GamersGate, GreenManGaming, NewEgg.

Yeah, but this one says ''Store or CD Key'' (GTA IV does not), as does other games that can be activated both with physical and digital keys/copies on Steam. Take Shadow of Mordor for example.

It will be all handled through RGSC. Retail and Digital versions will be handled together.

 

It just needs careful preparation to jump on hackers and stop them. Active moderators investigating violations and banning offenders will be the best deterrant. Banning PC hackers will be easier than banning Last-Gen hackers.

 

Maybe this is one of the reasons for our delay? Getting some resources in place to actually do this, since it also costs money to deploy a team?

I've usually always bought boxed copies of games as i always did but in recent times i cannot due to space constraints etc but when Max Payne 3 was released i got the boxed copy and it only activates through RSC, as of current i have no optical drive in my pc any more thus cant install it without an eternal drive, and... well i cant be arsed. As we all know these retail boxed copies cannot be activated via steam (I have tried) so the only way to get it on steam with achievements etc was to get it in a sale.
