I'm pretty sure the shortest period of time a game can go gold and then make it to store shelves is 2 weeks. 2 weeks to mass produce the discs and cases manuals etc and then ship them to retailers.

Depends on if you mean by going gold the moment mass production begins or when Rockstar/Take-Two makes an announcement that the game has gone gold. In case you refer to the latter, Take-Two made the gold announcement for GTA IV 11 days prior to release. I don't recall that they made such an announcement for GTA IV PC or GTAV on next-gen, though.

 

 

Off topic, but that article mentions that Lazlow said that Niko would bleed and LIMP when shot in the foot true only for NPCs unfortunately (till mods on PC fixed it he he)

It's impossible for V to have a similar system requirements. 7870 as a minimum? That game is an eye-candy.

See this kiddies? This is legit. We have these at EB Games in Canada as well. They are direct from Rockstar promotional material, which means the game has GONE GOLD.

Of course it's not a real box. It's PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL. EB GAMES HAS THE EXACT SAME ONES HERE. They are 100% LEGIT. Good lord. I feel like everyone in this forum needs a hard smack in the face with a 2x4.

It has a bar code so it was put by Game Kendel, not by Rockstar (if you believe it's fake). They wouldn't be so dumb to leave the bar code if they wanted to post a fake...
