Sometimes the game date changes to the "Coming Soon" and shortly after, returns to "Early 2015". This is something that I realized what is happening a few times since when the game date changed on their own (or by Valve) at the turn of the year.

Honestly, it makes sense to not release any news now. It wasn't different for PS4/XBOX One version, the 3-weeks-before-post was just information about new content for the new versions, including the PC version.

I see them starting to release PC specific news 2 weeks before. In those 2 weeks they're probably gonna show us screenshots, a trailer, an introduction video of the video editor, hands-on reports, etc.

good point lol I'm pretty sure we're just overreacting atm, ik we said this about 3 weeks but I think 2 weeks is probably the prime moment for anything

I doubt Rockstar is going to delay it now, i mean, i think they're just silent because the most of information related to PC version is tied to Current-Gen console version's information already given, they can only give out the system requirements for the game and maybe some boasting about the video editor and/or other exclusive additions to the PC version.

 

As for the Steam version, i think that will update without notice, just like the release date changed to "Early 2015"

 

Just chill out and wait for the 27th, it's very close

So far there is one single 4K display with G-Sync out there but it is TN.

Everyone talking for 4K at the moment either made a poor choice bought too early or does not own one.

8GB of RAM is not really needed yet by any game I think

 

But 2-3 years and it could start becoming not enough

To be honest it's 2015. If you don't have at least 8GB of RAM in your PC, you're doing it wrong and have no room to complain about modern game requirements. It is dirt cheap and supported by virtually every system that is capable of running GTA V, RAM aside.

 

Tired of the people with low grade machines dragging down the rest.

 

 

Boohoo. Not everyone has a great economy like most of you. Need to remind you that 8 GB RAM is $120 here, and a GTX 750 Ti is $200. Dragging down the rest? F*ck off you elitist.

Because they have not offically announced it or opened the pre-order. When those things happen, it will change.

This is the only thing that has me questioning the current release date. January 27th. That's how many keys they have to type in to Steam to update us and confirm the date. Yet they are either A) too lazy (not a stretch for Rockstat) or B) not confident that this will be the day the game is coming out for PC. It's one or the other, and frankly neither is good.
