That's pretty stupid. But anyway.. we all know what will happen when GTAV PC will be released..

 

Nah. It said announcement coming soon, but it can be released this October or September since Rockstar is still going to focus on their Heists for GTA. Take Two need a blockbluster this year and I am sure they will try to make MAFIA III as one.

For the 50,000th time. The timing of digital pre-orders and the release of system requirements MEAN NOTHING. Plenty of big games have seen pre-orders open late (or not at all on Steam), more than a few have seen requirements revealed much closer to release than we are now. Recent games from big companies: Far Cry 4, MGS Ground Zeroes, Game of Thrones Telltale, all had requirements released within 1-2 weeks of release. MGS never even had a pre-order. Rockstar are clearly milking the physical sale on their own website for as long as possible before allowing Valve to take a cut of their game on Steam, which will happen with every sale made on Steam of the game. They like money. Not a surprise. Max Payne 3 did not see either until 2 weeks before release. Capcom is releasing a remaster of the first Resident Evil on January 20th, pre-orders for that are only going live for it later this week, it comes out January 20th.

 

There is nothing in either of the two reasons you give as a reason for a delay.

Completely f*cking blew us off. We aren't worth anything to them. And don't think for a second that by releasing the game on PC that it shows they care. All it shows is that they will milk whatever money they can from the same tired old software. They just got it down to a science on how to maximize each platform. Disgusting.

Seriously what kind of mind f*ck is this ? since the release of the game they haven't missed a straight up 2 weeks without posting at least 1 or 2 articles about those f*cking consoles, while the PC fans are waiting since 3 years and just 19 days to go for the release of the re-re-release and the only info we have is worth dick, this is getting really pathetic and stupid.

Its clear by the use of the words "hope to have" that "coming week" was a typo and meant to be "weeks". They didn't guarantee anything.

If the next gen marketing started 2 weeks before the release that means that the PC marketing will starts next week.

But R is unpredictable, so you never know.

I think that we are patient. We hold 3 years and 2 months with any single pc screenshot, trailer or article.

I hope that with GTA 6 this not happen again but i think that i will be wrong :(

I think that we are patient. We hold 3 years and 2 months with any single pc screenshot, trailer or article.

Three years? The game only came out on PS360 just a little over a year ago. It's not that serious. People are more hyped and crazy for the specs than the actual game at this point. It's beyond ridiculous. I can tolerate lots of whining if it's justified (most of my posts on this site are from GTAO's Bitch & Moan topic) but for this, it's just beyond stupid. People throwing around conspiracy theories and braindead-idiotic assumptions left and right, blowing nuts over activity on the SteamDB pages, acting like it's a paradigm shift just because the date changes from "Coming Soon" to something else, etc. It's just a joke at this point.

 

I used to wonder why R* doesn't communicate with the fanbase that much, but then you realize that most of the fanbase are a bunch of loony idiots and it all makes sense. And my post isn't a ringing endorsement of R* by any means, either.

I want to remind you all, that, system requirements for Max Payne 3 were released around 23rd of April 2012, ofcourse they were updated 2 weeks before final release, while the game itself was released worldwide on 1st of June 2012, so what im trying to say, GTA V case is totally diffrent, i wish they were so open to talk now, as they were back in the days of Max Payne 3. They really did their best with this fantastic game, you could really feel this game was meant to be a PC game from the start, Max Payne series started on PC, just to remember, yet the game received rather cold welcome (sold poorly, not counting digital, only retail, but still), later they changed toward

PC, im starting to think, low sales of Max Payne 3 could be the reason for this situation, i hope once GTA V gets released, it receives warm welcome, so the future for PC is bright as sun in the sky, also if they were different, there would be no confusion here, so finger is pointing at them as source of this confusion, other developers cannot afford behaviour like that, as they know, people dont like to be treated like that, and they'd loose lots of customers. Also , GTA V already break another record with sales overall 40 milions of units, PS4 versions outsold XB1 versions already, wow !!! I hope that V on PC is more like PS4 version than XB1, atleast one can dream.

I pre-ordered the hardcopy version of GTA PC from a webshop and the release date on the website is 27th of january. Steam pre-order or not, i think the game will release on it's release day: 27th of january, see you all in Los Santos on the 27th!
