I love how the actions of the moderator on the newswire page represent the company as a whole. This community is so stupid.

 

Does that moderator work for Rockstar? Yes he an employee? If so, then his actions represent the company. As is true for any employee of any business. The fact that you don't know that, tells me that you're either, a) a child or b) not very bright.

 

I don't think you understand how silly it actually sounds. The moderator is deleting off topic comments, which they were likely told to do, yes. Are PC comments off topic in a post about a Snapmatic contest? You bet! The moderator doing his job doesn't mean the entire company is stupid or hates us.

 

Rockstar has their own agenda of planned news articles, etc for whenever they feel is the right time. One thing is for sure though - we'll be getting some form of news between now and the 27th. We've waited for years. I think 3 more weeks (likely less for news) is not a lot compared to the overall time.

 

Lastly, my apologizes for being realistic here. I know it's difficult to not be incredibly immature when it's been such a long wait.

I think its time to stop playing guessing games. You only set yourself and others up for being let down because you're going to be wrong more often than you will be right. Stop the impatience. We're going to get information soon (it can come any day at this point) and we'll have the game itself in less than 3 weeks.

 

Again, Max Payne 3 did not have PC information released until 2 weeks before release, same with digital pre-orders. There's no reason why or why not GTA 5 wont have a similar timeframe.

 

And just to placate you a tiny bit, its just about 1pm EST. Rockstar typically do updates later in the day/afternoon, today is not even out of the question. Just because they do one thing early, doesnt mean they wont do another later. Major updates typically come from the NYC office. In respect to Steam, even if Steam has its daily update, doesnt mean we can't see changes to the store page for the game at any time of day. Those type of changes don't have to wait for a system-wide update to come through.
