they need to release some information max end of next week, we are talking here about days from a launch and we still dun have the specs, what if they are absurdly high?
even if they arent, some ppl surely are waiting for the specs to upgrade their pc´s (not my case) and i just guess they can wait till 27 january, if rockstar didnt released nothing yet about pc (other then gta5 coming pc) then idk what kind of future lays ahead of us, kinda scared a delay happens

The last week isn't late at all given the game probably doesn't have any exclusives compared with the next-gen versions. Launch pre-orders, a trailer, specs, screens, and you're set. That's probably what we'll have, if we'll even have a trailer.

I can't imagine how 5 people could be enough to test the servers...even 32 is normal and every game should manage it. As far as I know, there is some kind of "master server" which manages every lobby, so they would need to push that master server to the limits and that is surely not 32 players.

And it also doesn't mean that only players you see on steamdb are the only ones testing it. The game may even not require Steam to work and these 5 people are just testing the Steam version while other are testing it internally beyond our sight.

Stress testing is not happening on Steam. It is obvious they have internal builds and Steam is only used for integration testing.

probably next week, maybe thats the reason why their playing on steam, so they can record some footage for new trailer, who knows, i hate uncertainty

Think about it - the peak was 8 players, so that probably means the PC will support only 8 player GTA Online
