+1 Although I don't like the overuse of caps and swearing.

 

It is not about the game at the moment. We all are happy the game will come to pc, and it will probably soon. It's about the silence that is totally not necessary. It's sad they announce the pc version, delay it soon after and then stop speaking about it. Rockstar is a big company with alot of resources and marketing professionals. The consoles are dont also at this time, so there is nothing to hold Rockstar back.

 

There are two options: or they have problems with the development of the pc version, which is highly unlikely; or they just think this silence is creating some kind of hype.

Well, you can call all of this a 'hype' but it is so negative I don't think it's a real benefit to them.

Hey guys,

I almost never post here. Not since the GTA IV wait I think. It takes quite a bit of stuff to happen before I ever think to post. I feel like I want to say this to the community. I am not singling out anyone here, it is just a general observation. Here goes.

The hostility I am seeing here over a video game is embarrassing to us as a community and as individuals. While I understand the desire to want this game, I want it as much as the rest of you, I do not remotely understand the anger toward what should be an exciting a fun time for us.

I liken this to last year. I am 35 years old right now. On my birthday last year, which is in February, the 9th for those interested, it was a Sunday and I was excited to have family and friends over to celebrate. It got cancelled due to weather. No one could make it. I celebrated it 2 weeks later when I could get everyone together. I didn't get angry. I did not blame mother nature or God or believe I was being conspired against. Stuff just happens. I was disappointed for sure. Not going to lie.

My point is this, I guess. We are PC gamers. We get the rep of being a bit snobbish and entitled. I would rather cooler heads prevail here. Lets not give the console guys any more ammunition against us. Let us band together a bit a talk about how excited we are and what we believe our experiences will be. All this anger at R* does not really suit the mature, amazing nature of PC gaming. We work a bit harder to afford our systems. We play differently than the console guys, who I love by the way. We interact with our games on a more personal level with mods and community add ons. We claim our superiority, but act beneath our stature. All I am saying is that this community is at its best when we are positive. Even in the face of what seems like terrible treatment. Lets try and get back to those roots. Sorry for the bad sentence structure. I know math and physics not english and grammer.

Idk in my coutry its not like that so I guess. Here only police officers and security guards have 12hr shifts, emergency services 6hrs shifts. Others like programers have normal standard 8hrs a day, and politicians works only 3hrs a day...

But if in USA is like that you say then great and so is true that Croatia is very special country...

Don't care about system requirement bcuz im using a laptop.

if your pc can handle 2014 games it'll probably be enough to enjoy the game.

 

don't wanna even see any screenshots or trailers cuz 20 days ain't much.

 

just try to keep yourself busy and time fly in a blink of the eye.

personally I have my exams till the 27th and have Dragon Age, Shadow of mordor, payday 2 and a lot of unwatched movies to keep occupied ( not that I recommend watching films and playing games in time of your exams )

If you are using laptop, then you SHOULD care a lot about system requirements.

 

I have a laptop too and I'm worried about the requirements but if I can't run GTA 5 at all there is nothing I can do unlike desktop users.That's what he means I think.

 

That's exactly what I mean. my laptop is powerful enough to play dragon age: i in maxed setting and it's not like i can do sth about it if it dont run the game. which i'm pretty sure it can just maybe cant play at 60 locked.

R* knows we've bin waiting for a long time the least they could do is give us something, here's an example : Dear PC community, now that the GTA V is closing in to the PC we have an annoucement to make soon. Expect new screenshots next week!"

EDIT: Holy sh*t. This is the longest session ever. Almost 12-hours of activity. Bot or not, it's a nice thing to hear.
