I used to believe in that concept; "patience is a virtue." But no more. Watching people pass away before experiencing great things and never getting the chance to, just proves to me that our time on this earth is limited and we need to take in as much as we can before we go. What good is patience when we are all living on borrowed time?

 

Exactly, we have lost some friends and brothers(Community members) throughout the entire damn time, and all we get is "Stay tuned" and we are simply treated like we are of no value towards R*.

 

 

ok this makes no sense, what I gather from this statement is that the only action that will make you happy is if R* pushes the release date forward, otherwise what difference does it make whether they give news or not?

I mean sure a early release date would be nice, but the true issue is that Rockstar seems to be hiding from us, and when they aren't hiding they are ignoring us.

 

I mean have you even attempted to go on one of their Tuesday snapmatic posts and try posting about PC to see if they care? guess what, you will get your comment removed and most likely you will be revoked from commenting.

EXACTLY THIS!

 

It's the way they interact with us that drives us up the wall. If they would just communicate with us 1% as much as they do their console players, we'd be content. But they can't even be bothered to do that.

Most certainly. They have to test the compability with Steam, achievements and overlay many times with different hardware to be sure no major issues will happen on launch.

 

EDIT: Not sure if Dying Light has multiplayer, I don't care, but if it does, it might use Steamworks, which needs even more further testing.

What a depressing day. I really thought they'd have to say something today, but nope. I swear, it's like they do it just to spite us and keep us guessing. If they do post something during the rest of the week, then I am convinced it is intentional lol.

 

Sometimes, I really do want to go full on hyper-optimistic mode and keep on screaming "TOMORROW IS THE DAY GUYS!" just to be guaranteed to be right at SOME point. Because this whole holding off and thinking "okay, there's like no time left, they have to say something on THIS day" and then it turns out nope, just another f*cking dead day from Rockstar, is really killing me.

 

So guys, TOMORROW is going to be the day. They made their updates to the Steam branch of the game and took some screenshots, and tomorrow they're gonna drop the bomb on us with all the spec requirements and info, and some screenshots. YEAH!

 

 

this feels weird, it better f*cking be worth it.

Dying light is not just being played by Devs... Many famous Youtubers and critics have access to it.. like TheRadBrad, Pewdiepie, IGN, etc.... and many more.. Thats why it reached 70.

 

Whereas GTAV is only played by Devs.. cz R* is a very secretive company and likes to work alone.

I really don't think the lack of news justifies the preposterous, f*cked as sh*t lunacy that transpired in this thread today. I honestly have no idea why things blew up the way they did. The backlash Rockstar got for lying about the "coming week" thing was less intense than this.

 

Don't get me wrong, it sucks that we didn't get any news today. But it's just like any other day. What made people blow up today? Culmination of frustration? Could be.

 

Let's all just try and stay calm for the remainder of the wait which is, by the way, very short now. 19 days, 17 hours left at the time of writing this. I know it's difficult, and I know it's hard not to speak your mind in the most blunt way possible. But for the sake of this thread's life, and for the sake of everyone involved, please contain yourselves if you can.

 

The news and goodies are going to come very late, same as they did with the NG versions (except for the tidbits given in September/October, though that was NG + PC marketing, not just NG), but they'll be here.

 

Just remember it's not a matter of months anymore. It's weeks. And soon enough, it's going to be days, hours, minutes and seconds.

 

To end this half-assed pep talk of mine, I'll drop this very appropriate song from PAYDAY 2. It might not be what you expect, but in this context? It definitely makes sense.

R* has their own time measurement. They know nothing of earthly time measurement, they have their own.
