Well I had a feeling today would end in disappointment. But you know what? I don't think I care anymore. I am sure my rig is good enough to play this. In fact I am confident if you guys have a 280X / NVidia equivalent or above you can play this game. I am tired of them treating us like gum on the bottom of their f*cking shoes.

I also know that my PC can run the game, but I want them to release the requirements.

 

Why? So there can be Steam pre-orders, so I can be ready to pre-load the game as soon as I can because I have slow internet, that's it

 

 

Well let's be honest here. Why pre-order a digital download? They can't run out. RockStar actually might not have a pre-order on steam, and they might not release the requirements for the game until about 5 days before or less.

We got nothing but I'm not mad, no one said that'll get something. We're waiting for some time now and maybe it's not the best way how they treat us but hey, it's a company that have to make money. Making the game for old-gen consoles, then for current-gen and delaying PC version in meantime was very good move. Sure, I'm a bit angry that I have to wait for the game, but I'm not mad at them becuase I would do the same thing.

My personal opinion: it's gonna delay again. Not by months but by weeks. That's what I believe will happen and won't be hurt if it does. I will be happy if I'm wrong and it comes on time. I will be hurt if it takes more than 3 weeks to arrive past the 27th.

That's true. But they are running out of time man. Maybe they won't have the steam pre-order at all, but the only way to get the bonus is to pre-order the physical copy.

I'm on the fence as far as delays go. I don't think it's ruled out considering that it is merely 20 days until the 27th of January; however a few weeks is most certainly the worst case scenario. A month or more seems far-stretched to me, as we would know about it by now. That is, if there are any more delays at all. No one should jump the gun on this one, though. Maybe it's all part of their plan.

Lets be honest, Grand Theft Auto is a tour de force in the gaming industry, and console manufacturers will do whats necessary to keep it off PC for as long as possible with every iteration, if it came out on all platforms simultaneously the PC version would undercut console sales thanks to it's modding potential, something $ony and micro$oft will not allow.

 

I don't think GTA will ever get abandoned on PC, however at the same time it will never be released in line with console versions.

 

Well that and people can not help themselves and choose to Pirate products instead of purchasing them legitimately through places such as Steam, which often offer them at Massive discounts compared to Console prices...then wonder why the game (in some instances they may be intending to Pirate) is delayed compared to console releases (exclusive release rights to prop up the console market aside).

Piracy is nowhere near as bad as it used to be (piracy is more common on consoles these days).

im thinking the lack of news is they are drumming up the hype this close to release now, and we will get specs screens a trailer and a 5 min look into the new and improved editor, the page will be very long going into detail.. that seems like the most likely reason we still havent gotten anything cause they need a big enterance
