I don't understand why everyone is freaking out about game being delayed. It won't be delayed for the 2nd time I said last week someone works for SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) there is already boxes says date do not open 1/26/2015 it contains GTA V boxes.

 

Relax just 19 more days until we can play!

It's not like it's already been delayed once. It's not like a R* employee said on the Newswire, the most official source available, that they're "presently in the final stages of development on the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V".

No, it really doesn't. They already delayed it, and it is probably ready. And if they didn't care about PC, there wouldn't even be a PC version.

 

So stop about this delay. It will not be delayed. (again)

People will tell you it's impossible, but it's possible right up to the very same day the game is set to release. They could drop this bomb on us at any minute...

 

 

Yes, a delay is always possible at any time until we're playing the game. But what's the f*cking point of harping on it or dwelling on it? There is nothing we can do about it if it is delayed. If it happens, we have to wait longer. The problem is constantly bringing it up like its fact. The problem is thinking its inevitable rather than it really being unlikely at this point. Games don't often get delayed this deep into the cycle. Of course it can happen, but it doesnt mean that it will.

 

The fact is that a delay is not inevitable at this point. The timing of information being revealed or digital pre-orders not being available yet do not mean a delay is incoming. There's no reason to worry about it. If it happens, then it does. Until then, don't worry about it. Rockstar regularly wait until right near release before doing things like this..

Suspicions of a possible delay began in October, when some retailers changed the release date on their websites, and last week IGN claimed to have been given official word of a delay by Rockstar.

That was like a month ago, where are the news, the sys reqs? No confirmation saying ''PC officially coming out 27th'' Not at all, those words don't mean anything

 

They could come out any day saying ''Guise we had a problem with our PC version of GTA V, game delayed''

Yes, this is what it means. It should be of no surprise. A product like GTA has to get sent out to every little games store under the sun. If its already hit manufacturing, its an even surer sign that the game is on time.

There's no way on Earth that you can know for sure that they're not going to delay the game (again).

 

We all know that R* have a mind of their own and never stick to any sort of routine, as demonstrated countless times before and today as well.

 

Until they release some information, no one, not even Rockstar Support, will know for certain that the game is still coming out on 27.1.15.

They can not be predicted at all, I feel like even THEY don't know when they're gonna do what .. It's just like Sam and Dam wake up and be like "Today is a beautiful day, you know what, let's call our monkeys to check gtaforums if they are waiting for info today, if yes, delay it for another week just to piss them off"

 

From now on I'm officialy set to January 27-th, I'm not waiting for anything but the game release and I advise this to everyone to save your nerves.

I know the wait is long... not to say 'too much' long, of course :rol: ... but mates, just look forward and keep '01/27' as THE true target in mind... then hope nothing else before that f*cking date => hence every litle thing that could come by that date would be just a kind of 'bonus' ;)

 

In other words : forget about all those hype trains getting started from this forum, better keep in mind that R* is just unpredictable :sui:

 

 

Don't get me wrong : I have been quiet busy today, so not so much time to check news... anyway I (also) thought it could be a great 'window' for R* to launch something...

But from years now, we thought that... and finally this tuesday was like all the previous ones... so just let it go... then try to EXPECT NOTHING...

 

Actually, the old good mate who said "expect the unexpectable" was right... since it also works in the other sense : do NOT expect the expectable ! :lol:

 

 

Cheers everyboy and see you in 3 weeks :santa: because we don't know the hardware requirements OK but after all, the wait is almsot over ;)

That's right. I can't know it for sure. But many sites are saying it, and pre-order boxes are saying January 27 too. It just wouldn't make any sense. Just because they hate us is not a good reason.

According to Rob Nelson, producer at Rockstar Toronto, the PC version has been working on GTA IV PC since January with a team of around 50 members.

No wonder GTA IV for PC was badly optimised. Only a few months. It's not the case with V, however in this same article they did lie saying it was built from the ground up... They built the PC stuff from the ground up they mean ;) But yeah, no reason to be afraid of V, and no reason to be afraid of a delay either... What the f*ck lol.

Like I said, even if I didn't put too much hope on today, of course I am a little bit disapointed about getting no news from 'them'... so I guess it starts to play a lil bit of my nerves :rol:

 

 

Let us all just calm down... for sure tonight we are (nearly) all on fire... then just wait for NOTHING except the end of the current month ;)
