Hype is gone, no news from Rocksh*t.. Good bye.

It would be a highly unlikely thing for almost any publisher to release specs 3 weeks before game release. Usually it's 2.

At this point I will stop trying to predict Rockstar's movements

 

It's impossible and pointless

 

Trying to nail an exact day and hour is impossible

 

We are disappointed every time

 

All I know is that news WILL come until the end of next week (i.e January 16th).

 

If they don't, something is not right

 

Rockstar obviously like to take their time and they will show us everything in the last minute

Every day is possible now, but im surprised too, today seemed a good day for the news and yet ... nothing, atleast they could pretend they care, we already know it's not easy being a PC Gamer these days. At this point delay is inevitable, March or April seems a highly possibility, if they respect gamers, they'd announce delay already, saving people from confusion.

I told that the way R* would smash the hype train today would be awesome, ++300 persons frustrated in a row, I was already expecting something like this and I haven't got disappointed, at least I've enjoyed myself with all the tears on this thread due to the C* silence :)

 

Half of the ++300 people has f*ckd off

All these discussions and offenses are so... unnecessary.

 

It is a fact that Rockstar is focused on money instead of pleasing the fanbase. If not they wouldn't release the ports (current gen) before the original version (PC).

Info may come today, tomorrow, next week, who knows. IMO they should release the system reqs as soon as possible because it IS an important thing for PC gamers. Consoles had news 3 weeks before the release even don't needing worries about requirements, so why couldn't we have? Is the PC fanbase so insignificant for R*?

LOL, really? After all that waiting/delaying/milking etc. you still believe they care about PC community? NO, they do not, because, unfortunately, we do not mean money for them, and thats also the reason why we are "last on scene". But anyway, this is a pointless discussion....

 

 

Dude I haven't played the game yet. I am as frustrated as anyone here...

But think with me. The PC version will make them 2-3% of the profit consoles made... Why would they put so much effort into this?

My only explanation is because they love us.... And if they released the game for PC last year they wouldn't have made 50% of what they actually made probably.... They are a company. They have to survive. So consider the PC version a "favour". But I think I am the only one here who thinks this way. I know I am alone...

 

 

Believe me, I understand what you are saying, but maybe they could at least try to release the PC version at the same time as CG version or just a few weeks later(like they did with Max Payne 3), not more than 2 months later, thats just stupid. As I said, pointless discussion because they would not change their strategy even if every one of us would buy 100 GTA V PC copies...

 

 

What you can call them is "greedy bastards" and I absolutely agree with you there.

If they release it at the same time as CG version they wouldn't make as much as they did....

They would only change their strategy if they were 100% sure they would make the same or more profit as they did with this strategy...

They are a simple company. They see profit as their first target like all companies that succeed. This version is a favor. Probably the amount of effort they put into this version is not even worth for the profit they will have.

In my vision it is just worth to make us happy.

And as for this delay it not on purpose. there is no conspiracy against us... thats just my opinion in this subject

Well, we kind of make the job ourselves, promoting the game with our comments here and there but, damn... I think I remember it was different for GTA IV. There were more news and stuff about it, right?

Considering what, 3 weeks ago, they said they "hope" to have specs within the week and completely failed for 2 weeks in a row? Maybe 3? Yeah I wouldn't be f*cking surprised if the PC post we get at this point is a nice big f*ck off to PC fans from Rockstar.
