Oh jesus. Totalbiscuit is a hack. A moronic jackwagon sausage fingered hack. He is a DISEASE to PC GAMING. To this day he still insists that Max Payne 3 was a port. He also insists that Wolfeinstein: The New Order is the best game of the year 2014, despite sh*tting all over every other game that didn't support SLI. He's an idiotstick.

I would probably lay down $45 for the pc version. But no more.

 

I picked up Shadow of Mordor the day of release on G2A and it was only $37. Also it turned out to be a preorder key so I got the bonus sh*t too. I'll likely do the same for GTA. Not giving up $60 for the game after all this time. I was a day one buyer on my Xbox 360, bought the special edition in fact. Then I got the PS4 black Friday bundle so essentially got the game for next gen for free since I was going to buy a PS4 eventually anyway. PC is the only thing left to figure out how to get a copy of the game for and $60 is not on the table for this game for me.

 

 

Now that the internal steam date is set to the 27th we can finally rest easy. They'll likely update us tomorrow and then we'll be 3 weeks away from being done with this horrible f*cking nightmare. 3 years brothers. In 3 weeks those years of frustration and disappointment will be over.

ive been using steam idlemaster to farm cards towards gta its a bonus when you have 950 games so ill probably just chuck my money towards it as soon as the preorder comes up

 

 

That's pretty smart, I don't have 950 games but I've got enough to make ordering off Steam pretty cheap.

ive managed to get £8 sofar off around 200 cards or so but that went in the steam sales haha im now left with £2 so now until the preorder goes up im farming cards all day, its nice when you can get bundles super cheap that have cards

It sure does. The lack of full anisotropic filtering is really blatant at 1080p and above. I still can't f*cking believe that here we are in 2015, and modern day consoles STILL can't use anything about maybe 2x AF.

 

 

 

I can't wait to bruteforce those hideous blurry textures away with Nvidia's 16x AF driver level setting.

The blur is strong with this one. Sad to think this is the best modern day consoles can produce. Meanwhile I've been using 16xAF for over 12 years in every game I play on PC with virtually no impact on fps. Sad.

 

And yeah that screenshot about sums up how awful the texture filtering is on my PS4. I am fairly certain the game had higher setting used in version 1.00 but just like last gen Rockstar "patched" the game into ugliness.

I believe that seeing that the holiday event is now over and tomorrow is Tuesday(R* is most likely to publish something on tuesdays), and they still haven't acknowledge anything since the Q&A they made a couple weeks back, we should see some post PC related tomorrow on the Newswire, but this is all expeculating because no one knows how Rockstar works.
