Im not expecting anything released at all.

 

For what we truly know they may be playing GTAO on a PS4 drinking some beer and laughing at PC players. Then reward us with a 360 poorly optimized port version by summer.

 

Do you realize that the fact we have no info on the PC version, means we are still in-for-a surprise . *I really hope*

Seeing as the information for the next consoles was revealed 3 weeks before the release, and tomorrow HAPPENS to be the 3 weeks until the release of the PC version, it's only logical to think that we will get something tomorrow.

 

Lol they don't need to have the same schedule over and over again for every game. Tomorrow may be the day. But you can't say it's only logical....

There is no logic when it comes to schedules. They will announce something when they have that piece of info available and when they feel like it will be benefic for them.

There is no logic attached to it. Only business. Business does not always have logic attached to it...

 

 

Ok, I might have written my point wrong. My point is that it wouldn't be reasonable to release information THAT late. This is the last straw for them TBH. I mean requirements getting released about 2 weeks before the actual game release? Not everyone will have enough time to upgrade, if they want for GTA V that is.

 

 

Well actually I think they couldn't care less about that. They know they will sell the same amount of copies wether they announce reqs. today or 2 weeks from now... So they might be worried about more important things. I don't know anything either but I think people get hyped on such little things

This or next week they will have to say something. Even if it is delayed. We will get news. But after I have seen a store in the UK tweeting the ability of pre ordering the game at them. and these Cover things sent to them by R*. I don t think there is going to be a delay. Why is Steam not offering a Preorder?!. Because you don t have an option to cancel it. You can t do anything afterwards. So no system information. no ability for preorder on Steam. And btw. Steam has nothing to do with R*. It is their choice if the give u a preorder ability at this time or not. That it is coming to Steam is obvious. So stay cool. We will all get information. Propably tomorrow, between 4pm-6pm CET. And between 10am-12pm east coast. Only what kind of news. That is the question. But we will see

Dude learn something. When companies don't want to assume a big responsability they give the most vague answers they can find.

That doesn't mean anything. It only means they are working to get the best version possible for us and it means that their support department doesn't know anything more than we do....

Sites that are already selling pre orders don't know anymore than we do.

They can sell whatever they want. It's called risk. They can "calculate" the PVP of the game before knowing anything.

You can say that it's like how the stock market works you know? They estimate a price and grab your money. Then Rockstar asks them for the PVP they want. I know i am not very clear but I don't know how to be clearer in this subject in english lol

But hell even you can sell GTA keys. You put them, let's say, 60 bucks. People give you 60 bucks for the game. And when it comes out Rockstar puts the game for 40. Congrats. You give the key to that person and you earned yourself 20 bucks. See where I am going?

Well that's it... So don't get hype over some website that has pre orders available

 

Its not PVP... Reccomended Price is what I mean (or something like that)

I remember +400 persons on this thread being disappointed with the delay incident, it was priceless and it'll be again by seeing 300 persons being left in the darkness again. They won't tell nothing like they always do (or don't?).

Exactly what I mean... I work in a company and I only know things about my department. I have no f*cking clue about some things that are happening in other departments... But not to compromise the name of the company for itself the support staff has to give vague answers... They can't say "I don't know". That would be very irresponsible....

You know when most publishers usually push out specs? 2 weeks before release.

 

I appreciate where you're coming from on this, b/c I'm so tired of people using the timing of requirements (or pre-orders lol) being revealed as an argument for negativity in respect to this game, but this quote of yours is a misnomer. There is no timing for "most publishers". The timing of requirements being released varies so much from company to company that it's literally impossible to guess and using it as an argument point in any respect is pointless. Some do it very close to release (i.e. MGS Ground Zeroes) some do it much further out (Shadow of Mordor requirements hit 5 months before release) and even the same company will do it differently in the same release window (i.e. Ubisoft - The Crew requirements came over a month before release, Far Cry 4 within 2 weeks, AC Unity a little over 2 weeks). Its useless comparing timing of this information because its so varied. There is no rule to the timing of the information and no standard timing. It literally can come at any time from the announcement of the game to the day before release.

 

Let's have some GOOD NEWS about Steam/GTA V. Here's some:

 

Anyone who's been watching this game closely over the past few days noticed the whole Early 2015 to Coming Soon to Early 2015 nonsense on New Years Day. A side effect of this was the game's placement on Steam's Upcoming Calendar (http://store.steampowered.com/search/?filter=comingsoon&os=win). When it returned to "Early 2015" the game fell on the calendar after January 30th. Now, it's placed just after the January 26th games and before the 30th games, further proving that this game is almost certainly going to come out on time at this point.

 

We're 3 weeks from release as of tomorrow. The chance of a delay now is extremely slim. You don't see delays this close to release often, if at all. If there is a delay at this point, it would be brief, like a week or two. But even that is unlikely. Its almost certainly not going to be delayed any further.

Pre-order and release date come hand in hand on steam along with sys req's. Everything is done "internally" until they're ready for the full shebang
