Just remember that there was someone on these forums that calls himself as an ex-R* employee who told us that the Steam version would get delayed for 2 weeks, then the game will be release at february ~10 if the overall PC version don't get delayed to march, of course..

Definitely HL 3 has been the longest wait not GTA V for PC....

This is worst because for 1 year and 4 months we had to see how much console players enjoyed the game (twice!) meanhile we are here like morons.

And at least Steam ignores all players, not like R.

I wouldn't be shocked.... They could theoretically hold on for another week, but I just cannot see it happening. I guess we'll get the same 3 week buildup the New-Gen consoles got.

They did the same thing with the XB1/PS4 release...

 

They posted news on Xbox One and PS4 versions exactly 3 weeks before release. Then they had first person trailer next week and comparison videos + IGN's 30 player online preview.

I believe official information will be made public within two days on tuesday. I also hope it will finally end the discussion and doubts about a possible delay.

 

I don't think R* is hating PC players. If they would start giving information earlier, people will 'demand' information on all coming R* games earlier. I think they like to keep it like this. After the release everybody who complained about the lack of information will forget it fast and love R* again.
