  1. 1. When will the preorder option on steam be available for GTA V PC?

Recommended Posts

I don't think that is bot... I think it a real person playing GTA V at his house for beta testing phase or better of saying it just polish it up and ready to be shipped.

However there is a guy on GTA V steam forum said that he works at the warehouse not rockstar but he has access to games SKU he did said that he saw alot boxes saying "DO NOT OPEN AT THIS DATE" it was boxes of GTA V PC being ready to shipped next week.

For referring what SKU means it means Stock keeping units.

So THERE IS NO DELAYED!!! That the good news!

Just a bit of an observation. How bad does your system bottleneck with that processor?

Sorry for jumping in but, a 2600k overclocked to 4.6GHz in no way shape or form will bottleneck a single 980. If he wanted to he could run 2 x 980's in SLI, and still be fine. A 4.6GHz 2600k is equivalent in performance to stock Haswell 4770k (3.9GHz turbo)...

EDIT:

I think I broke the page, lol.

So, we are like 1 week or 10 days for a torrents leak :F

This is true.

There is no reason for this. GFWL is dead so they need to use steam. I'd guess that GTA V will be steam only and be heavily reliant on both Steam Logon and RSC. At least i hope.

Game stores don't like PC. All they do for PC is sell a steam key in a case and why would you head into store to collect a digital copy in a box when you could head over to places like DLCompare and CDKey comparing sites when you can find the cheapest source for a game at a reasonable discount even on release? Game stores made a huge deal about consoles turning mainly digital copy and how it would destroy their companies

Nah!

It wouldn't be Steam only...Nope

Physical would be RGSC only.and the Digital would be Steam only with RGSC logon...maybe

Almost identical to MP3.

I highly doubt physical version would include a Steam key...

Not at all.

Just read how MP3 was done. That will be how it is done. It still has no reason to be delayed on steam. Rockstar isn't going to screw over PC users even more by doing this. There is no way they try to funnel the money through physical copies or buying digital from RgSC

Not really. PC leaks only come when somebody has got a physical copy before due time or when the preload version of an Steam game gets cracked.

In this case I highly doubt there will be any leaks giving how much Rockstar cares about their games being not being released even a single minute before the official release date.

In the other hand, The steam delay rumours can also make this leak happen later.

And finally. We still don't know what kind of protection will the game have. Fifa 15, for example, remains uncracked as for today.

What? I don't even bottleneck at all what the hell are you talking about? It Core i7 2600K 2nd generation of i7 is still good for another what 5 years...

I don't need any upgrades right now until DDR4 prices go down then I'll upgrade my system. Your the one is the old fashion using AMD... not alot people use that much anymore because AMD is pretty much well... low ranked based on benchmark. :/

EA literally lucked out on that. If you've seen their anti cheat you'll see how lucky they've been with it not being cracked.

Good, and I hope it stays that way. I also hope that it will be impossible to crack GTA V.

I have to try Fifa 15, as I just got it recently on Origin and still haven't played it.

http://hwbot.org/benchmark/cpu_frequency

World record. The processor I use came out this fall. But this is a holdover rig until, like you said, the DDR4 gets more reasonable and 5th gen intel is a bit less priced. Spent $1000~ on this rig. And have $2600-4000 for the monster. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/farnot/saved/FnTNnQ

But I do agree on the part that intel is the master processor. Was just wondering because it is a bit on an older cpu with a modern gpu.

Actually it is cracked, but group doesn't want to release it because one big company from China has something to do with EA and its FIFA.

It uses same protection as Dragon Age Inquisition (Denuvo).

Whatever you do, do NOT, I repeat do not get 3 x 970's especially if you're getting aftermarket EVGA cooler that blow inside the case. It would be an absolute nightmare, temperature wise with all 3 cards blowing inside the case, unless you're planning on cusom watercooling the cards with EK blocks for example. Plus 2 x 980's would be a much wiser choice as its not that much far behind 3 x 970'sin terms of performance (remember 2-way SLI never scales 100%, 3-way SLI scaling is even worse), also less heat, less power needed to run the setup, better overclock potential with 2 cards vs 3 if on air. Better yet, wait for the next cards that will release in a few, which will be 30-40% faster than current GTX 980. R9 390X from AMD camp or Big Maxwell "GTX 1080" or whatever it will be called. (Maxwell refresh)

Btw, slightly off topic but wtv.

While waiting for GTA V I'm trying several games out, like Wreckfest.

Even in it's alpha stage, it's a lot of fun!!! With proper optimization and better antialiasing, this can be a hella awesome game.

2dqm2d1.jpg

Totally recommended!!

I'm also playing TBOGT with a GTA V handling mod to start to get used again to GTA V's driving :3

LOL! Denuvo has been broken weeks ago. FIFA crack exists already but they are refusing to release it publicly for whatever reasons. :p I don't think GTA V will have that much of protection. Even the OG console versions were cracked.
