The NVIDIA driver profile just means they have access to the game and have optimized drivers that will be ready by launch. They're late, however, as AMD had a GTAV driver profile way back in in late 2013. So, AMD devs had access to the game before NVIDIA's team did.

I think (and really hope) that GTA V will be that good optimized, even for Nvidia cards, if its an "Mantle game".

But with an GTX 980 4GB OC, i think that it wont be any problems!

Very exciting. The good part is also what modders have in store. I have some plans for this game that I think people will enjoy.

 

I wonder if the PC exclusive features will be announced with the system requirements. I see something happening on January 6th. All the holiday festive surprise stuff will be over a day before.

No, PLEASE NO! Now I know why they haven't talked about the sys req until now, the game is sh*tty optimized because NVADIA has crapped on GTA V optimization, GTA V will run laggy with NVADIA cards and sh*tty with AMD cards. This is the reality, NVADIA means awful optimization, the requirements will be a 2GB GC as minimum requirement. RIP GTA V PC, killed by NVADIA.

NVIDIA only provides technology, they don't optimize the games. For example, MGSV ran much better than ubisoft's games did, and both of them have Nvidia technology, so don't panic... yet.

I said this earlier, I believe today is their longest session ever. Personally, I think they are staying this much on to test achievements and Steam functionality.

Also, the broadcast thing is not really possible, one cannot appear on an unreleased game, even though there is someone playing it. Just like, if you look on SteamDB, there is a person playing, but Steam doesn't show that because the game is not released.

 

Edit: The dude has stopped playing, but his last session is like 3 1/2 hours long. Today only he was on over 8 hours.
