Why does it bother people so much the possibility of an Origin version??

Really, if you don't like Origin OK, no problem, go buy the Steam version, if you also don't like Steam OK, no problem buy the retail you're not being forced to buy a certain version...

Damn, this just create useless fights and discussions.

 

Use your brain! If it goes on Origin R* probably will probably slowly move to Origin and cancel out Steam for Future Releases! Which would be a disaster! Also, Don't tell me: "But R* Wouldn't do this" R* HATES PC Gamers! Yes, it is obvious- From the Delay of the PC Version,To The fact it comes out an entire Year and a half after the Original Launch! And don't even get me started on GTA IV~ I may love that game but on Technical side, It is a Un-Optimized Pile of Garbage.

stop blaming Rockstar and ask companies like nVidia, amd or Intel why they didnt pay R* to get the pc version faster...

think about how many hardware companies are out there :)

Yes R* would deliberately cut out the distribution method that most PC gamers use, pretty much guaranteeing lost revenue.

Citation needed, do you have any evidence to support this claim? you sound like you're fully aware of the technical hurdles encountered in developing the PC version.

Lol like they give a sh*t about it. Plus what do u think they would achieve with that?

 

I even think it wont be partnered with any of those gpu brands. Otherwise there would be an announcement already and a post on nvidias blog with the graphical settings and benchmarks.

 

The only one that could say something and could have the power to do something is Valve/Lord Gaben. But they have enough money, upcoming games and stuff on their plate to care about 1 single game.

cause those arent platforms they are only support, the only thing payign would do for them is whoevever gets to optimise the game better for their hardware, and in this case it was amd with mantle etc so yeah...

Source that PC is unprofitable? Because AFAIK MP3 sold well on steam. I really don't get all the thing about "pc is unprofitable". How can a game be unprofitable when it hasn't been released yet?

trying to understand what you said but ...seriously "pc is unprofitable" the biggest install base is the pc, its only cause of big companys like microsoft and sony that we dont see pc for a long while cause exclusivity pulls people in more than wide spread release at once

 

also the reason they released so late is because of them knowing that pc users want it the most mainly for the mods due to the popularity of previous titles and cause of that they dangle it over our heads cause they can grab more and more sales

After R^ take payback from Gta V project almost ten times, they really don't care about pc sales because its not very major ''Piggy bank'' nah, also that PC piracy is no longer to hurting their profit

 

now they can release it for pc because is nothing to lose

No delay as far as support knows. That's what we should understand.

 

For sure, the way they answer the question is quite annoying. Support just rely on what R* officially said, nothing more, nothing less.

The only reason pc would be unprofitible is because of absurd requirements to run the games.

1. R* is far from DICE.

2. You know why Heists are postponed for a very long time? Cheaters. Remember GTA:O launch? Because of cheaters, R* needs to clean them up first. Once they're sweeped, then we started to receive free DLC's.

3. R*'s excuse for cash cards makes sense to me. They're not forced, at all. Look at BF4 and those premium content. BF4 community is split because of that.

4. V PC got delayed. What's done is done. Big deal, it's only 2 months.

 

And we're less than a month away from the release, so I don't get why people whine and bitch all the time, this time around.
