It says "Coming soon" on both SteamDB and Steam because, Rockstar did put 1 Jan as date, and then this sign will automaticly come up, if they do not change the date.

 

Dont worry! No delay, I guess that today or tomorrow they will update this and put correct date, and preorder.

 

No need for them to login here now and just correct the date?? They are doing it when they activating the preorder!

Rockstar is not allowed to take a week of vacation for Christmas.
Rockstar is not allowed to be with their friends/family for New Year Eve.

EDIT: and before that someone jumps on me, yes, I think changing and setting the right release date on Steam should have been done already, indeed.

that yesterday steam updates(5) dev's/testers change date to coming soon
just like the added languages packs couple weeks ago its showing up automatically on the store page

Just because there was one automated change on Steam, the world ends and the screams of 'delays' reach crisis proportions! I am sorry, but let R* employees enjoy new years day just like we are, with their friends and families.

 

Come next week, things like to this will be resolved as the staff return to their desks, you have to remember the American working and family relationship, most of the staff will be spread across the entire US and a fair fraction will be overseas as well.

 

There will be no delay this close to the release as it would have already been announced before the Christmas Break. Information will arrive in the next few weeks, just calm down and stay relaxed until then everyone....

Then how do you explain the new 5 updates that toke place this very day ?,the staff are there.... updating but not giving a damn about setting the date,the game is released according to steam,doesnt that get you suspicious as why they are ignoring this till now ?

As long as R has yet to start marketing the PC version the delay option will be around,personally ill stay in doubt untill R does its first PC V post,a lot of disappointments to go blindly trustfull with these back stabbers.
