Pre-orders on steam won't open till January. They hate Valve for taking a cut on their easy milking. The longer they keep pre-orders off steam the more people buy it direct from them. This is simple 1 2 3 processing and shows how they really are.

It would be somewhat calming if they just changed the date from "Early 2015" to "27 January 2015" now, chances of December release are fading away with each passing day.

OT: i totally agree with yoona i think a lot of us are still hoping for that december release just some how we hope it i mean it makes so much more sense coz most people gonna buy it for ps4 and xbox one as soon it comes out then there sales will be boosted as well at christmass but i think if they do pc on christmass as well then they will make more sales tho but that is just my two cents

Edit: It was only one .tga and very small (1KB). It is the same as the icon above, but with black frame.

Yoona pls! People hoping for an "early" December release and I'm sat here with the violins praying to the higher powers that this game releases on the 27th of Jan. Really, I'm in a worse state than a crack whore 2 weeks without a fix. :panic:

I'm definitely looking up videos. This purchase on Steam will be a double dip for me as I own a special edition Xbox 360 copy and have seen all there is to see in the game. Because of this I am not afraid of spoilers and will activity seek out leaks and videos in the next 10 weeks.

"clienttga" is most likely the image file of it on your Steam library. TGA is a file format for images. Pretty popular in a lot of games / texture files too.

 

However this is just.. beyond me, really. Could be completely wrong. I'm more interested in what the changing of the numbers is and seeing as the number is getting higher and higher I hope it's not being pushed back behind other releases... like a delay... or something........

I believe the client icon is the Steam Library icon. Shortcut icons are apparently reg based.

 

It might mean the Steam pre-order is soon, or it might not. I suppose we'll see.

Can't believe that before 12 September we were very excited about this autumn,
and we were expecting to play the game in the same day as new gen console gamers.
Now we should've had to wait just 5 more days, but no:
"Wait for over 2 more months because we need to make more money" - R*
and they've f*cking ruined this dream, once again...
f*cking greedy bastards, now we have to watch other people how much they enjoy the game (for the second time most of them)

This wait seems to be endless....

Since 2011 I'm f*cking waiting for this game,

and here I am 5 days away from the second release on consoles and almost 3 more month of waiting (at least) for the f*cking PC version...

I f*cking hate my life :sui:

Money has the power to change everything man, a deal has happened with $ony/m$ and R* to they delay the game for 2 months. The game is already finished, many sources from this forum has confirmed that the game is already finished and NG versions are a direct port from the PC version.

Oh yeah, it was me the one with the girl sucking banana as avatar, but Vergil Sparda is a motherf*cking badass, that's the reason I've changed my avatar :D

I'll only watch GTA Online videos because I'm avoiding major spoilers from the SP campaign, some of them are impossible to avoid, but I'm fine.

 

I know almost nothing about the game story, but I know it has terrible physics and the characters can't f*cking crouch :s

What do you mean leaked? You mean the PS3/360 version? Or Ps4/XBONE versions?

 

 

@Blackscout - IMHO - even if the game on pc looks exactly like ps4 - but with some anti-aliasing, i would be happy. that would mean I could play it at 60fps.

Be Jan 27th, kids on PC say Mum & Dad i want GTA V on PC.
"Sorry but Christmas was only a month ago, and thats a $60-89.99 game (depending on where you live)
Rockstar loses sales

Release it before Christmas

You get it as a Christmas present, increasing sales.

Unless GTA 6 comes out on two different gens again, I don't think so.

Either way, at least this time we should have a good, perfectly optimized GTA V with tons of mods to help our patience.

(Unlike now with GTA IV being all we have to sit on)
