Well i've got a 4 year old GTX 570 which is a 4 year old and counting graphics card which is almost tied performance with a 1 year old system So yes by todays standards they're 3 years behind in hardware.

Pre-orders on steam won't open till January. They hate Valve for taking a cut on their easy milking. The longer they keep pre-orders off steam the more people buy it direct from them. This is simple 1 2 3 processing and shows how they really are.
