I just noticed something.

 

Here you have the plants in last gen:

 

Here you have the plants in new gen:

As you can see, they are quite different.

 

But in the pre-release screenshots, they look like this:

 

The plants in the new gen and pre-release versions look very similar. Coincidence? I don't think so.

definitely not. a few users in here, mainly SLIVER_WOLF, have demonstrated that the pre-release screens and footage were not from the PS3/console version and most likely from an early PC build with reduced settings/lower quality assets.

 

all of the early screens, the ones that looked far too good to be PS3 and everybody claimed were "photoshopped" or pre-rendered, turned out to be from the PC. just examine any of the "new-gen" screens and compare them to the pre-release ones for your proof. rockstar duped the console community for sure.

Ugh you guys. I promise you the PC version won't even look like those promotional screenshots they showed us. Every game developer takes sexy pictures and modifies the crap out of them to show on the store page. Watch_Dogs being one of the biggest culprits as of late. The pictures of Watch_Dogs on Steam store or even PlayStation store are so painfully fake.

 

If anything, the PC version won't look as good or will look way better. But I doubt the PC version will look identical to the original promo art.

Where do you come up with that idea? PC Gaming can be a hell of a lot cheaper (especially in the long term) than console gaming.

i was one of those people. i didn't know any better, shame on me.

 

i mean, i pretty much knew rockstar's upper management were lowly, greedy pieces of sh*t, but i never thought they'd stoop this low.

Look up Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, that game looks practically the same on PS4 as PC on high and even ULTRA settings with high res textures that are said to require 6GB VRAM (3gb does it for 1080p)

I'm worried about PC port of Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain as well, I bet it will only offer better AA, more stable 60 fps and that's it, no graphical adventage over PS4.

And remember it's an open world PS4 game in 1080p 60 fps, that means they had to lower graphics to make it run on 60 fps. GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One will be 1080p 30 fps and that's almost certain.

Running it everything ultra except textures which are set to High with a 2GB R9 270x..... 50 to 60 fps.

 

 

I don't know if to love or hate them, the game runs incredible well in a mid tier hardware, but it seems like it looks the same in consoles which are inferior in hardware terms. The only PC exclusive is the option to get 2k, 4k or 60fps.....

 

I've heard it is a "very well done" XBONE port. God knows how it was developed.

 

 

Back to topic, I hope GTA V runs and looks at least like PS4 does, in low-mid tier PC's...
