Triad Wars, a PC exclusive sequel to Sleeping Dogs is coming on early 2015. Will it impact the GTA V release or the sales?

 

It's not a sequel to Sleeping Dogs...and it will also be free-to-play.

I can't really think of any game that would impact GTA V sales on PC other than the game itself.

 

If the game is a piece of sh*t and runs like ass on most computers like IV did then yeah. That will impact sales quite a bit.

If the game runs well and looks good then that will also impact sales quite a bit.

They own atleast 1 game, they can range from indies to AAA titles but honestly when people talk about major AAA titles such as GTA, Far cry, Destiny, CoD and more, 80% of the time, they're playing it on a console. My opinion is that PC platform isn't very popular when it comes to AAA titles, hence developers don't pay that much attention to us. However since you said that Steam's user base is increasing, PC gaming should become more popular. (hopefully)

I can't believe how badly this situation got f*cked and how long it has stretched on for. It feels like a literal bad dream. I'm not saying that just because the situation is awful. It is. But it just feels like a dream to me. That Fall 2014 release date seemed so perfect, and the delay just hit us out of nowhere.

 

It's some surreal, depressing sh*t.

 

I have a sudden need to go look back at the old PC threads. Maybe that'll give me some f*cked up sense of nostalgia or something.

The game itself, as a story is decent, playable at least. My hype for the game was so extreme that I actually almost finished the game on PS3 before it was released on PC.

 

Imagine coming from the PS3, with a crap framerate and pretty bad visuals, to the platform so extremely unstable that it makes the PS3 look good. Damnit Ubisoft.

I don't think they show them until PS4/XONE versions will be released.

 

Probably, in December they announced a new DLC and bugfixes for NG and in last weeks they show them.

 

Finally, in January they will show lots of info about PC version to back again to hype train!
