Atleast now we know for sure the game will run very smooth, they said they needed the extra time to make it as amazing and polished as possible...

So if it turns out horrible, which it wont.. They have some explaining to do.

 

IDC About the Delay anymore.. maybe the game wasnt finished at all, who are we to say it is done.

Maybe they are implementing a better anti-cheat or anti-piracy thing or maybe, making the game look even better on PC.

Maybe the PC looks so much better, they dont want to release it at the same time as next gen because they want to sell as much as possible. (Got this from CVG).

I think the PC version will look a whole lot better but i also think its marketing.

 

First release it on next gen (Oh, looks nice.. quite an upgrade. Here is my 70 Euro's)

Then when PC comes out with even better graphics and ofcourse mods, some people who bought next gen will buy it for PC aswell and that equals more $$$$$ Eventhough R* sound like they hate PC. They do know PC is the best platform to play GTA on.

Maybe a miracle can happen and they release it a month earlier, if of course the game needs "polishing" and they finish with that earlier than expected. I mean that is not uncommon, maybe uncommon for R*, dying light was supposed to release in february and Shadow of Mordor is releasing 1 week before its initial release date. But who knows.

Indeed, and i'm going to upgrade my monitor by the time GTA V comes to PC.

Can i ask a question? Does a downscaled resolution for example a 4k monitor 28 inch downscaled to 1440P look worse in comparison to a 28 inch display 1440P not downscaled from 4k?

Could anybody answer this? Because 1440P and 4K price differances are not too huge, i rather get a 4K monitor and play games on it in 1440P if the quality wont go apesh*t.

 

Edit* Got my answer, 4k downscaled to 1440p doesnt look very good but 1080P does since its 1/4th of 4k it looks good, but 1080P on a 28 inch monitor looks ugly..

So i will have to buy a 1440P monitor, i cannot game in 4k anyways.

Console versions aren't done in that way either. They are probably adding the radio stations and that sh*t.

 

 

But as for the GAME, it is done since time ago.

EDIT: This thread is pretty much dead, R* has managed to kill it together with all remaining hype on GTA V PC. So don't worry, people will eventualy stop "bitching" here.

It's not as bad as I had expected at first. When I was reading the announcement yesterday, I thought it would take more than just a day until everyone slows down a little with their hate posts.

I was already prepared that I'll be playing GTA V on my PC this October or November, and I was planning to buy a new PC

 

But Rockstar crushed my dreams

After thinking for a day, I still think the delay is stupid. But it's just 2 months, it's been 2 months since the PC version was announced and that went by pretty quickly. Just like that, the next 4 months will be gone and we'll all be playing GTA V on Pc and get over all the drama.




The delay is still stupid though, you won't get away so easily R*.
