Look to this thread, before today's announce, it had + - 60~80 users watching this thread even at this time, now we have only 10~23 users roaming here right now and a lot of hating comments from people that's really disappointed with R* once more.

 

R* has managed to kill all the remaining hype that the PC version had until now. Congratulations R*.

Because January 27th is NOT confirmed. Rockstar has outright lied to us and even to all the console gamers. How many f*cking times did they say "heists coming in winter" "heists coming in spring" "heists coming soon...." and still no heists. Same sh*t with NG/PC release. They tell you one thing then change their minds at the last second. They have a disgusting habit of not caring what their customers think of them and jerking them around all day.

 

I am betting that the game will be delayed AGAIN on PC, especially if the NG consoles sell many copies of GTA V.

They've been working on the PC version since mid-2012, are they really declaring that they're THAT incompetent?

They seriously need an overhaul on their managements.

 

And if anything guys, it's not Take Two fault. I would say it's solely Rockstar fault, at least we know 2K releases their games for PC and consoles simultaneously while Rockstar doesn't. 2K is part of Take Two, while Rockstar is autonomous part of Take Two.

 

I really hope 2K can make MAFIA series their flagship title and make it sell a lot. Then, I am sure Take Two would just close the deal with Rockstar Games because I am sure when the partnership deal ended again, Rockstar Games would demand even more money.

Do you know what's more sad? They'll keep this silence, they think their excuses of polishing the game will be enough to us and they won't give any sign of life to the remaining platform to be released, killing even more GTA V PC remaining hype until they announce they'll delay PC version again. R* doesn't gives a single f*ck about us PC gamers.

It's absolutely pathetic how immature this community is (perfect example above). They delayed the game only a few months. You all are acting as if they canceled it. Oh well, I want it just as badly as all of you, but find something else to do it the meantime. Unliking their Facebook, canceling preorders, ranting, etc is only proving that the PC should NOT be a platform to target. Would you honestly rather them release a buggy game?

 

Of course, there's also the very likely chance that Sony paid Rockstar quite a fortune to push the PC release back. When you're such a large company, an opportunity like that involving much more money than the delay will cost you, it's worth it. I'm certain that if any of you were in the same boat, you'd make the same decision.

 

Rockstar's decision is not rude, impolite, or whatever. They're a business. Their marketing team is doing what they "think" is right.

 

The thing is, on Steam they put on "Early 2015".

Which scares us because early 2015 could mean it could be pushed back even further.

But honestly after this delay, I don't trust them anymore UNTIL I will see the release myself

This disappointment of PC gamers with R* after yesterday's announcement isn't just like people ranting about V cops or Online being boring, but it's the fack R* gives the middle finger to their loyal fanbase all the time.

 

They don't accomplish their promises, they don't give any information about the game progress to make so much delays and disappointment, they won't release the PC game at fall 2014, but they were developing the game since 2012, c'mon. It'll make 1 year since online was released and they won't release heists they told to the consolists they would get since October 1° on that trailer, then spring, then fall. Do you guys see where I'm trying to get? What in the earth can assure us R* will release the PC version of the game at 27 January if neither Rockstar is trustable.

 

I can bet my ass for everyone on GTA Forums we'll be "left on the darkness" and they'll let latin rumors being spreaded around the Forums until January and GTA V will be delayed once more.

Watch Dogs and GTA are made by two complete different studios and have their own different problems. R* showed us that they are capable of making good running PC games. Ubisoft Kiev only showed us that they can't port games for sh*t.
