It's not happening this week. Next week 50/50 chances, nextgen or patch 1.17.

 

Today we have Tuesday, so we can expect something about release date of NG,PC, but yeah we know how it is with R*.

I think the same. The 1.16 patch contains references to transfer your character to next-gen platforms.

Tons of people say "not buying this again at full price, i already played it on last gen".

Something like this free with the new version might be what they need to generate sales.

Well, they need to come with something new in the PC/NG version (not only improved graphics, and new wildlife)

if they want to make more money, and that would be a good reason to buy it again, for the people who already have the game.

Time-exclusive SP DLC and Online Heists would definitely boost NG and PC sales, I guess.

I hope that they don't do that. Putting a time exclusivity on LG players because they didn't want or could upgrade to next-gen/PC is a big no no. They have waited long enough for Heists.

The problem with all this DLC inclusion speculation is that you guys are under the impression that Rockstar feel they need to do something to help buff up their product to sell it. They don't need to do anything besides release it and people will still buy it whatever the price. And they're arrogant enough to realize this.

 

If you set yourself up expecting Rockstar to just bundle in this huge DLC pack that they've been working on last 12 months than you're setting yourself up for disappointments.

 

 

My predictions: GTA V NG/PC port = $60. Single Player DLC sold separately = $20.

 

Count on it.

The have to sell the new versions somewhat, and CG and (specially) PC users have been waiting much more than them not only for Heists but for the whole game and content. About 3 years now.

TLOU was hardly a ripoff. I traded in TLOU PS3 for the PS4 version and only spent $25 on an upgraded version of one of my new favorite games.

 

As for the rest of you saying we'll get single player DLC along with the PC version, I wouldn't count on it. They don't need to package anything extra with the game. It's GTAV.. it will sell fine without adding anything new.

If by any chance they can't release within 2014, they should announce as soon as can.

For me it will be a brand new experience so personally I don't care but some people will bash them if they ask for full price.Even without the add on I think it's worth purchasing it again not just because of the substantial visual upgrade(not like TLOU,it literally looks the same) it's more because of the online component that will be playable and more enjoyable this time around.

Exactly, I'm having a blast with the online "Factions" mode. It's similar to how Gears of War multiplayer works, but with more emphasis on stealth and crafting. I know so many people that have never even tried it, and it's such a shame.

@SuperHolySheep Yeah, it's nice but we still don't know when we will be able to play this game so that songs doesn't seem to be so important at this moment.

Yes we do. It will be available on PC this Fall. That narrows your window to a 3 month period. This month, next month, or the month after that.

On September 17th they are going to do some special GTA Online event celebrating the anniversary and that's it

 

Still silence about next gen version

 

We will have to wait till October for news

I hope we get the Blimp for pre-ordering. I'm going to buy Special Edition, but I hope they add some more stuff for Next-Gen, like new special weapons/cars.
