XXVIII
It is great to see the resumption of this thread, and to be able to measure the juxtapositions, which are showcased prominently and amazingly throughout the New-Gen footage as an entity. There are so many nuances within that are worthy of acknowledgement, but I would like to accentuate on something that induces my smile every time, even after having viewed it copiously. Even after the 30th time, I feel the same caliber of excitement grip me, and then I proceed to visualize how awesome it is truly going to be experience something that epitomizes Rockstar Games' immeasurable capacity, passion and commitment to transcend with ironclad tediousness, the assets of a game that were plagued by limitations at the expense of its predecessor. Not to diminish the trademark altruism of Last-Gen Grand Theft Auto: V, of course. What I speak of, is resoundingly without question, Rockstar's revolutionary facilitation of an authentic rendering of the vehicle interiors, which is showcased in the perspective of motion and an enlarged freeze-frame below. When these two visuals are locked in my peripheral vision, I can instantaneously detect a degree of intimate detail, which emulates that of a real dashboard. The manner in which the instrument cluster is configured, how the gauges are contoured with a proper circular outline. But even still, the vehicle interiors are emboldened with even more appreciable complexities. The gauges do not just exclusively demonstrate a cosmetic exhibit that we can capture with a Snap-Matic, but they have been afforded the right to be utilized. There are two warning indicators that will illuminate on the tachometer ('Headlights on', rear fog lights), which will hopefully correspond to a press of the headlights button. Functioning tachometer and speedometer. I just love what Rockstar has done. It just wouldn't make sense that they would take the time to make the car interiors this detailed, if we were not going to get a cockpit view. It would be a waste of resources and power if they made the interiors this detailed for no reason. I'm about 95% confident cockpit view will be a new feature. nightmare-slain
don't think turn signals will be in it. the textures you see in the trailer (ps4) were probably the ones they made in the first place but just had to lower the quality for ps3/360 versions. happens a lot in video games. you create textures at the highest resolution then just scale them. so just cause you see it there doesn't mean we'll be using them. i can't really see how they will add it to the controls. are there any free buttons that the indicators will be mapped to? i haven't played in a while so can remember the layout. theworldfamous
Still, with all the added details I think the biggest improvement is the lighting. I already loved how V was colourful..with all games being grey brown these days, but next to the updated shots it manages to look bland all over again. It looks like its the same basic solution but the implementation is a lot better and it's obvious the shaders have been upgraded as well. I love the vibrancy. One of the things that impressed me most on even the old gen version was how lights carry on all the way into the distance and get this cool bokeh (depth of field, but cooler) effect. That seems to have been ramped up considerably. I hope it stays that way. DoF like effects often get applied in early trailers but removed or toned down near launch. The tough part with a game like this is that everything needs to look right in all possible lighting and weather conditions. I can't wait to see how everything is going to work together with the day and night cycle. I'll probably leave it on screen when I'm not playing just to have a look. It'll look better than what some people have on their walls and dare to call 'art'. What I will enjoy most is the higher resolution and better filtering. The jaggies and pixel crawl was really a blight on the look of the old version and could get quite distracting. I fully expect 1080p and not some compromise and hopefully a locked 30 fps. I suppose 60 fps is too much too ask, but would be infinitely better of course. The additional traffic and peds are gonna make a big difference too. The streets are too empty and it's too easy to just blast down city streets full speed.

There aren't any buttons left. Plus, I think about 99% of people would never use them, or even notice them. Those that are going to use them, well, I guess maybe 90% of them will probably only use it a few times. What's the point in developing such a minor feature? *braces for Yoga responses* Signatures are dumb anyway.

I really dont think that, The textures are remade to fit with NG interiors. Most of GTA V cars (just to not say everyone) uses GTA IV interiors (circa 2008), an older game that has the same interiors at every plataform (PS3, X360 and PC). That's for car interiors, but look at terrain textures, I think these textures are the original ones and then they were resized to fit with last gen limitations. XXVIII
The intricacies of Michael's hands, positioned realistically at 10 and 2, represents just another reason to be excited. Moreover, another very prominent detail is the crisp rendering of the bones that are protruding out of the skin. They are outlined perfectly. I would love to see one more perspective of another variation of the interiors, just to see how awesome its cosmetic overhaul is going to be. The following visual is the Last-Gen rendering of the Vapid Speedo van's interior and dashboard texture. Try to envision how amazing this is going to appear, with a coat of high-definition. http://cdn52.atwikiimg.com/gtav/?plugin=ref&page=Speedo&file=Speedo_Interior2.jpg Cuexcomate and Xerukal

XXVIII
Gentlemen, in conjunction with my previous post entailing the foreshadowing of the Vapid Speedo captivated with high definition textures, I have elected and have taken the liberty of collectively enumerating (listing) all of the dashboard / interior textures of four-wheel transportation, within Last-Gen Grand Theft Auto: V. The sole objective in the showcasing of the aforementioned is to provide us with some oversight as to the unprecedented, graphical and aesthetic and empirical potential that these textures have, based upon their Last-Gen counterparts, and the stunning, effervescent rendering of the New-Gen Lampadati Felon GT. Last-Gen Grand Theft Auto: V is impressively comprised by an approximation of 28 visibly distinguished dashboard / instrument cluster configurations, with some redundant elements, which is understandable as many vehicles are affiliated to the same texture (i.e. many of the sedans share the dashboard layout of the Last-Gen Lampadati Felon GT). What this in turn indicates, is that every vehicle interior resembling that of the Felon's interior in New-Gen, will bear that awesome interior from the teaser trailer. The Stretch limousine is one such example. Through rigorous examination, even with their continuity from Grand Theft Auto: IV, Rockstar did such a respectable job in conjuring up such a variation of dashboard layouts that really complement the vehicle, especially those of the Pfister Comet, Vapid Bullet, Karin Futo, and the Vapid Speedo as mentioned. If you chose to view the content of all 28 textures, you will be able to instantaneously see just how each is punctuated with either analog / digital / vintage dashboards, gauges that feature red / blue backlights, a digital speedometer and some that feature a 'Driver Information Center' (DIC), like for displaying the Miles To Empty. These nuances, these details, are only going to be beautified more for New-Gen. And I cannot wait to commandeer them and see the profound differences. The following contains a consolidated, 28 pictures of vehicle interiors: Interior Texture 1 (Lampadati Felon GT): http://cdn52.atwikii...T_Interior2.jpg Interior Texture 2 (Pegassi Zentorno):http://img1.wikia.no...ntorno-gtav.png Interior Texture 3 (Enus Huntley S): http://img2.wikia.no...tley-S-gtav.png Interior Texture 4 (Dewbauchee Rapid GT):http://img2.wikia.no...pid-gt-gtav.png Interior Texture 5 (Declasse Rancher XL, Civilian Variant):http://img3.wikia.no...her-XL-gtav.png Interior Texture 6 (Pfister Comet):http://img3.wikia.no...terior-gtav.jpg Interior Texture 7 (Truffade Z-Type):http://img2.wikia.no...z-type-gtav.png Interior Texture 8 (Albany Primo):http://img3.wikia.no...-Primo-gtav.png Interior Texture 9 (Dewbauchee JB 700):http://img1.wikia.no...jb-700-gtav.png Interior Texture 10 (Vapid Peyote):http://img2.wikia.no...peyote-gtav.png Interior Texture 11 (Imponte Ruiner):http://img4.wikia.no...AV-interior.jpg Interior Texture 12 (Canis Kalahari): http://img4.wikia.no...AV-interior.jpg Interior Texture 13 (Vapid Bullet): http://cdn52.atwikii...et_Interior.jpg Interior Texture 14 (Vulcar Ingot):http://cdn52.atwikii...t_Interior2.jpg Interior Texture 15 (Invetero Coquette): http://img1.wikia.no...AV-interior.jpg Interior Texture 16 (Albany Alpha): http://img4.wikia.no...terior-gtav.jpg Interior Texture 17 (Vapid Liberator):http://img1.wikia.no...AV-Interior.jpg Interior Texture 18 (Vapid Dominator):http://cdn52.atwikii...or_Interior.jpg Interior Texture 19 (Benefactor Feltzer):http://cdn52.atwikii...er_Interior.jpg Interior Texture 20 (Karin Futo):http://cdn52.atwikii...o_Interior2.jpg Interior Texture 21 (Albany Manama):http://cdn52.atwikii...na_Interior.jpg Interior Texture 22 (Dundreary Regina): http://cdn52.atwikii...na_Interior.jpg Interior Texture 23 (Albany Roosevelt):http://cdn52.atwikii...lt_Interior.jpg Interior Texture 24 (Vapid Speedo):http://cdn52.atwikii...o_Interior2.jpg Interior Texture 25 (BF Injection):http://cdn52.atwikii...on_Interior.jpg Interior Texture 26 (MTL Firetruck):http://cdn52.atwikii...ck_Interior.jpg Interior Texture 27 (Bolingbroke Penitentiary State Prison Transport Bus):http://cdn52.atwikii...us_Interior.jpg Interior Texture 28 (Utility Truck):http://cdn52.atwikii...k3_Interior.jpg PowerKracker
