Somebody's gonna have to open up that mall downtown. I'd love to see something like the mall in vice city. Oh, and maybe make the map ceiling higher.

it will be same ol' sh*t: GTA V HD road textures, real textures, ugly ass cars from NFS games, crazy super power mods, characters from every 3d game ever converted, GTA 4, SA, VC, 3 map converted and soo on...

 

As far that i see there is no hope for real orginal TC mod for GTA but i hope im wrong.

I'm already glad when the modding scene is a bit more developed with GTA V than with GTA IV.

Yeah, exactly. Looks like a Rockstar-made model. Then again, I don't see a lot of community-created models, so I'm easily surprised/wowed.

GTA V: San Andreas or GTA IV with the new rage engine is what I look forward to.

 

I can't imagine running around good old San Andreas with Trevor and f*cking sh*t up. Must be amazing :D

* Fuel mod + functional gas stations
- When you driving with electric car, the batteries need recharging

* Speedometer
* Drivable train + switchable tracks + train traffic system + Passenger train + Train horn
* Cars don't explode so easy
* Less damage to Peds (they are now to easy killable)

some kind a traffic/police mods

* When you passed red traffic light, you get a star (two stars if it happend near police)
* when you destroy traffic lights it causes collisions (like in Die Hard 4)

I had to register to this forum just for this thread! (I'm actually a super old user from back in the GTAIII days, lost email and old handle.)

 

Not sure if anyone has already suggested this mod, but in case not...

 

CO-OP STORY MODE

 

2-player would be rad; up to 4 would be unbelievable. I know its a big ask, but why not reach for the stars you know? ;)

 

  • I'm thinking there is already a "netcode" in the game for GTAO
  • Hopefully it will allow a foundation for importing that code into GTAV
  • Then just run oldschool via TCP/IP and open ports in both/all routers...?

 

Anyone know the JC2MP guys? hahaha

A lobby GTAO server would be awesome. Bring on the mods.

 

As for starts, it would be cool to have some simple mods, like getting in the bus as passenger, call for stretch limo cab, spacious garages, mechanic and insurance in SP...

The mod I would add is passenger trains by replacing the freight train. If Rockstar doesn't make trains drivable on the Next Gen and PC versions will have to mod it.

Although I like the ideas here, the biggest hurdle faced by modelers for GTA V is a replacement for zmod I'm highly doubtful that zmod 3 will see a plug-in for GTA V. Although Oleg said he would consider one, I'm still doubtful.

I am not sure how the PC version of IV was in terms of mods as I have never played it. However one of my main complaints to GTA V was the physic teleporting cops that would spawn in on you as soon as you do something bad, even if it's in the middle of the desert and you had a silencer.

 

Will a mod be able to fix this, or can a mod only create new content as oppose to modifying existing content that is there? Especially when that content is a game system.

I can't wait to see somebody mess with the clothes' texture files...

 

For instance, both Trevor and Michael can buy cargo shirts that look very similar as far as the model is concerned, with a few adjustments concerning their respective body types of course, but the designs of those said shirts are character dependant, the only exception being that Trevor can buy the same denim shirt Mike has in his wardrobe by default.

 

This is the shirt I'm talking about btw.

Can you imagine if those shirts used similarly sized texture files, THE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES?!

 

You could have Michael wearing a shirt that was intended FOR TREVOR!!!!1

And I hope we can port some of the exclusive clothing from online too, well at least the stuff that looked like it used assets from Singleplayer at least.

 

 

 

Pause the video @0:54 this looks just like a modified version of Franklin's Shirt with long sleeve undershirt combo. It looks absolutely awful, I love it. I'd love to see that Franklin rocking that baby out. There are many of those exclusives recolors in Online, too.

 

And don't get me started on the wide variety of hats and masks available in online play...

I would love to see a rail truck mod in game. Rails have their own collision mesh, all is needed is to adjust the collision mesh of the wheels.
