any one know if its posible to replace character heads with custom modeled heads.

just replacing heads should not be that hard... but how to make it work with animations?

 

i do some modeling in my free time and would like to create some real life characters,

ice cube, deniro, pacino, breaking bad characters... and so on...

 

thats an example work, but its still in progress...

Yes. It is possible, but you'll need to do some 3D editing in Dff files. You'll also need some textures to that face. Edited by ArchKnight

Woow, that would be awesome, Michael is Iron Man, Franklin is Hulk (Gangsta Version) and Trevor is a hairy Wonder Woman? haha :lol:

 

 

I believe Justice League is a DC property, so there would be no Iron Man or Hulk there. I don't even want to think about Trevor dressed as Wonder Woman!

DC won't sure anybody to use "their property" as a mod in some game, unless modder sells it, then that is a different story.

 

I was only pointing out the fact that some would find it highly improbable that there would be both Marvel and DC characters inhabiting the same modification.

Guys, can anyone mod Los Santos international airport to be the real size of its counterpart, Los Angeles international airport? That would be a cool mod.

Its possible but the game has map boundary limits.

The airport did seem a little small. It was however more realistically proportioned then Francis Int'l Airport though. As to map boundary limits there would need to be limit adjuster programs written for V even before any expansion of the map occurs.

Yes. It is possible, but you'll need to do some 3D editing in Dff files. You'll also need some textures to that face.First of all, you obviously don't know that. Second of all, it's .wdr, .dff was discontinued 8 years ago. Third, just stop post.

I'm probably gonna try and mod it so I can play as a body builder haha plus guns and real cars. Texture mods and realistic gun damage and driving mechanics, but im not sure if its going to be easy like GTA 4, I wish R* did what Skyrim did and had a mod workshop!

Just an idea if and I hope R* do this. I hope they include steam workshop the reason I say this is would it be best to separate GTA 5 and GTA:Online so that only GTA 5 can have mods on whilst GTA:Online have players vote for mods to be added in? Kinda what valve has done with Team Fortress 2 by voting for mods to be added in game. Of course none of the mods can be copyrighted and so on.

Quite admittedly, nothing. I will probably use the Simple Native Trainer if sjaak makes one though, like I did with IV. :p That may be all, I may try a few mods but probably won't stay with them.

gta online cant have mods in it though. it wouldnt make the game fair. imagine a guy running around with a explosive minigun. it would be fine in sp but not mp.

You can transfer all your GTAO progress to PC/PS4/XB1.

What I'm most interested in, is how easily it will be to bring GTA:O content into SP via mods. Having the online quick menu available in SP woul be awesome as well as the gang hideouts and some of the easier jobs that are doable with one person for starters. Honestly the quick menu and all it's functions should have been made for SP too...

I believe there already is a quick menu in SP for things like GPS and locations, but not for masks and other such things.

the game is not even out yet..so nobody can really sure will that posible or not....

with rigging...you said you are a modeller,..so you should already know it..this is a very basic thing...

I HAD A DREAM TODAY

GTA V on PC was released. Modders released a patch were you could buy EVERY SINGLE HOUSE IG AND WITH WORKING GARAGES (except that they worked like GTA Online does, placing Blue Markers that get you in and out)

If you bought a mansion, cars could be stored just by parking them in the driveway.

ULTRA X4 TEXTURES

Police Sports and Hyper cars (Adder, Infernus and Comet)

FIXED MAGIC POLICE, but also increased difficulty on higher levels (special cars + special drivers)

Realistic drawing distance while using Sniper Rifles (People don't spawn and despawn if they are too far)

All animals from RDR put into the game.

Improved performance. Steady FPS.

I know my dreams are weird......... Hahahaha. But modders could easily do some of this stuff for sure :)

they look like how they look like....you can see it by your self if you want...the file already editable since long time ago..why you asking this..?

Add CJ by modding Franklin.

That should be fun. :sly:

Better yet. Franklin into CJ, Trevor into Claude and Michael into Tommy Vercetti.

 

EDIT: Also Franklin into Luis Lopez, Trevor into Niko, Michael into Johnny.

Does modding simply mean changing the game code so that only the stuff that's already present is modified? Or you can add more stuff like missions, cars and weapons? Like if there are a 100 cars present, can you add 5 completely new cars to make the tally 105?

 

Adding more missions would be awesome since I feel 69 story missions are pretty low!!

 

And can someone tell me what they use for modding...Thanks :D
