it is so funny that some of you ask questions no one can answer. fact is it is what it is and will come out. I think this game will work better than the last. but its only speculation...but boy some of you crazy kids have quite the imagination...

btw, my rig will run it... I have 2 gtx 980 (with 4gb ram each) coming to replace my two 660 ti's

It doesn't stack. You'd have a total of 4GB VRAM with both one or two cards.

Advice to people who are going to ask "Can I run GTA 5".

Take AC Unity. Run it. If you can, then you'll play GTA 5 no problem. :D

Watching the new gen footage of the game makes me think at one thing: that the game will be dx 11 only. In which case I'm f*cked since I can't upgrade my gpu anymore as planned.

Oh well back to san andreas and youtube videos I guess...

Don't forget "Last Gen Mode". Thats probably the DX9 version.

that -''last gen mode'' just a good legend for stupid kids

no lg mode just because its not be a port from lg consoles

if it will support dx9 or dx10 it will be port from old engine versions xbox360 or ps3 but R* not even confirm that

how it possible? you will never received to see those graphics quality screens from CG consoles, this game wil suppor -4k, -better textures than on consoloes(it had very big ass textures on consoles),-video editor

besides, it will be not support old pc hardware from 2010 or older that meant no switch Lg to Ng for pc

Sorry that was just my opinion because from what i saw from the build logs, there were mentions of "last-gen mode", also from what i know, it was build parallel from the start of development of the last gen consoles.. I'm not trying to start anything but yeah, discussions bro.

That's not the way SLI works, it doesn't stack. Physically you'll have 8GB of VRAM but it's not 8GB of VRAM in the digital world. I'm not 100% sure why that is, I assume it's because each GPU can only use the VRAM that's hooked up to it.

Definitely me in most games, I'll happily sacrifice some eye candy to get decent FPS.

He has a point though, if you can run Unity with somewhat decent FPS then GTA 5 wont be a problem. It's no different than me comparing a game like Crysis 3 to a new release other than the fact that, for the most part, Crysis 3 is legitimately demanding (I'm not saying it's this perfectly optimised game but you could forgive it because the game looks amazing) whereas Unity is artificially demanding.

Anyone still remember when was the system requirements for GTA IV PC released ?

The G4W leak was mid September

The official reveal was late October

Judging by that I'd assume they will be revealed anywhere between 22/12/14 - 11/1/15 (DD/MM/YY)

1. You could not crosspost it in two threads

2. You could maybe reveal which "7800 Series" card exactly you have.

I don't think so, I think it would be revealed before Christmas since Rockstar rarely post anything important on Newswire during that period of time.

RE: Video cards

you think I don't know this? ive run a computer company for 20 years now... all I said is I have two on the way with 4gb ram each...I didn't say 8 total. I said 4 gb for each...

man you people need to learn to read. again I know each video card has 4gb EACH. not a total of 8...is that clear enough??????????!!!!!!!!!!!

and why the hell isn't quote working for me????

*by the way, even as my system is now without the gtx 980's I should be able to run at max settings :-)

In that case, sorry. When someone talks about SLI and how much their cards has each, I automatically assume they mean how much they have in total.

I just hope i can get at least 30 FPS on my Radeon 6670. Could I?

On low, I think so.

Currently no one can really know for sure.

Tested AC:Unity on the laptop in the signature. Runs decently on Medium settings, 1080p, no AA. I get 25+ fps, absolutely no stuttering(on patch 1.3).

However, the game doesnt look that good compared to what is requires to run.

So I'm gonna go ahead and say that i'll get at least 30fps on medium in GTA V.

If Unity runs 25 fps on medium then 5 should run 30fps on high settings for ya(Provided it is decently optimized).

On the high preset, no AA, i get around 20 fps. So settings have no major impact on this game.

I'm feeling confident about GTA V, so i preordered it.

That is kind of...contradictory.

And still a complete flop for i7 and 760m.

Why is it contradictory?

By no stuttering, I mean the game doesnt hang or get any fps drops. It's stable at about 25 fps

With a 60Hz display it needs to show one frame 3 times and the next one 2 times at 25fps.

So you have very low fps and completely inconsistent frame times.

Better push it towards 30 stable hard....but your choice.
