Of course it will. Last generation consoles aren't very powerful. They probably maxed out the possible RAM they could use already. We already saw new wild life in the trailer they showed. Wait and see, I'm sure they will show us even more later.

All this early speculation is silly, but I'd bet my bottom dollar that, due to system restrictions, the more advanced console will probably have a few edges on the earlier gen eventually. But probably not for a while, as Rockstar seems to be a company that's smart about making money, and will keep everything they can on the older systems going for a while.

Considering that the xbox 360 and ps3 are where the majority of their players are going to be for the next couple of years, I wouldn't worry about missing out on new features and game modes. The improvements on next-gen will be, as Johan said, mainly in graphics and performance.

The poll implies that no-one here at GTA Forums has or will get a current gen console, please fix. Because if we have PS4s and Xbox Ones we won't be left out. So if I own a PS4 and I think yes, we might get things over last gen consoles, I can't vote.

Next gen GTA V won't get LC map, GTA 6 will take place at LC

What? I don't even...

 

You're saying that (I guess) GTA V was slated to get LC at some point, and that instead, it will be the location of GTA 6? Because I have no idea how this is relevant.

I think the question that everyone is really concerned about is, will be be able to see more detail on the penises. I know that high-detailed penises are the only things on my lips today!

I really well believe any dlc content or updates made to GTA 5 on PS4/Xbox One will also be updated on the PS3 and 360. If Rockstar Games were to leave anything out on the ps3 and 360. then people would complain about it. (except it's great detailed world and texture on the next gens)

What if there are things that just aren't possible to add on 360/PS3 because of hardware limitations? I'm sure small things like new clothes and cars will be on both gens, but I'm sure R* will want to use the full power of the XBO/PS4, and something just won't be possible on the 360/PS3 or if they are, they'll be extremely watered down versions.

Next gen GTA V won't get LC map, GTA 6 will take place at LC

No way will they go back to Liberty City for the next game. They were just there in IV. My hope is that the next game isn't a numeral, i.e. Vice City or San Andreas, but a separate city altogether.

I'm willing to bet that the biggest difference will be that GTAO has more world clutter like in SP as well as wild life. If you think you're gonna get all these awesome extra features then you're just setting yourself up for disappointment. They aren't going to alienate their biggest audience just to make the current gen version more shiny. I can't say the same for the PC version though.

 

 

Also people stop saying "nex-gen" as you look like a bunch morons. Next-gen is the PS5 and Xbox4.... PS4 and X1 are current gen.

No, the PS3/360 are previous gen. They are the 7th generation of game consoles and the current generation is the 8th. Learn to call them what they are.

I wouldn't see it as alienating 360/PS4 owners as much as I would see it as an incentive to buy an XBO/PS4. They already have the money from the people who currently own it, what they need is a reason for those same people to buy it again, if they didn't have new exclusive content, what reason would they have to buy the new version?
