if the price for a PC that can run it well is similiar to an xbox one or something or just a bit more, i suggest getting it for PC

What you have, good sir or madam, is the ability to use photoshop (or google a good photoshopped image) and a desire to troll.

Stop that.

It hurts my heart when I know it's not true, but want it to be so badly.

I'm in a GLASS BOX OF EMOTIONS!!

Why are you asking us? Which console appeals to you the most? And what console will your friends be on?

I personally prefer the Xbox One between Xbox/Playstation/PC, but hell, the fact that you're asking this question shows that you don't have any specific loyalty to either, so I'd recommend a PC, personally. But this is all a matter of opinion.

Playstation 4 has more players and has much better reviews. It's cheaper too, and doesn't come with stupid kinect.

The PS4 controller is superior to the Xbox One controller and on top of that, Microsoft isn't a nice company. Remember what they tried to pull of at E3 2013 with their DRM policies? They've also still got a few of them, i'll be damned if they aren't spying on you all the time.

PS4 was an easy choice for me. I prefer its exclusives, hardware is better compared to the Xbox One and with all of Microsoft's patches trying to improve performance, they're going to shorten the lifespan of the console. PS+ is an awesome service for any PlayStation you have. PSNow is getting ready to drop and reports I've heard say its smooth.

With that said, I'm going to change gears and say you probably shouldn't go off of our opinions. Whichever one you choose, you'll likely be happy with it. Just take a look at the games, services, and features available and decide which you're better off with. Where are your friends going to be playing? Is keeping your achievements/trophies important? We're all going to give you biased opinions. Don't listen to us.

Sony fan boy here.. but the new Xbox One is the same price as the PS4 and it doesn't come with the Kinect.

That aside, OP should get the one that his friends play the most (assuming you have any) if not then I'd suggest the PS4 since as far as I know while writing this post, it has the best performance in games in terms of resolution and quality.. barely though.

I can never game on PC. With consoles, I can watch Youtube and Netflix and whatnot on my monitor as I game on the big TV next to it.

I'm sure you could do this with extra monitors, cables, etc, but why bother? I can just have it, plug in, and boom. Go time.

I'm not into the whole console war thing, but this is something that I will come out and say I COMPLETELY and wholeheartedly DISAGREE.

The Xbox controllers fit perfectly in my hand. Whereas I use a Playstation controller and the bottoms/tops of my hands are slightly hanging off the controller. And my hands end up cramping up after just a few hours because of the awkward shape, which isn't very ergonomic, in my opinion.

The PS4 controller definitely has more features, and I wish the Xbox One controller had those things, like the touchpad and built in speaker, but it is nowhere near as comfortable to me, which is the ultimate deciding factor in the end for what I prefer.

Before and after seeing E3, I couldn't give a damn about PlayStation, and I never will.

The future of Halo is what made me get the Xbox One.

OP, if you have any friends on either PSN or Xbox Live, then get the console which provides that service. I'm not going to force any fanboy opinions on you, but personally I would get the Xbox One because my friends are on Xbox Live and I just prefer the service altogether, not to mention the game exclusives.

Both consoles are obviously a good choice, they will continue to sell in numbers and provide a great entertainment platform.

PCs are only as good as the money you put into them. A lot of hassle comes with them too. I've got an 8-core AMD FX-9590 and a HD7990, but it's much more convenient to simply play Xbox.

Only get a PC if you're into using mods and have the money to buy something worth buying.

Yeah, look at the future games and which one your friends are on.

Gaming on your own isn't very fun.

The Xbox controller is infinitely more comfortable for me. The touchpad is just a gimmick, and the speakers? Those belong in a Wii Remote.

I'm going for a PS4 and that is from an Xbox 360.

That's what I did. I'm soooooo glad you can transfer your info cross platform, or I was looking to sell mine and buy an Xbone.

People can talk sh*t about R* all day, but to me, they're still one of the most considerate and forward thinking devs I can name.
