The families girl still goes unused and seems to be a little bit glitchy, so I think they're fixing some peds up (Hope the female officer gets fixed) and slowly integrating them back into the game and adding some others.

Ah, well a few frames back from that and you can see a shiny black part of what may be the police cars panel over the wheel too, but it's very close (and stationary) for that to be any normal occurrence, so at the very least it must be related to the Washington, pulling it over or whatever (though usually they stop behind, so that doesn't make sense). FBI Washington though... hmm...

 

MEH, I saw what I was looking for, case closed...

REALLY awkward perspective. I still want to know about the helmet-looking thing, though.

 

 

Now I gotta look for something else interesting to make up for it... :p

The police car is blocked by the Washington.

 

Also, someone said it might be a undercover or unmarked law enforcement vehicle. That's impossible, because it wouldn't have a light-bar on the roof. That would defeat the purpose of it being undercover.

The more I look at it the more I think that there's a police car right in front of that Washington.

 

R* trailers are sneaky like that, I remember it all too well, spending my time looking at the trailers desperatly trying to find a car I didn't see before when it turns out that you did see it before...

 

I guess what I'm trying to say is, don't get your hopes up to high, pal.

 

It's definitely just a cruiser in front of a Washington that people are putting way to much thought into.

I dont know if this is the right thread to post this but is it true that rockstar just trademarked a "City Stories" this year ?

It would be nice to have an alternate story with a single character. Three characters was nice as a one-time thing. I don't want them to do it again.

The game is SO advanced in PS4/One/PC that the city council actually makes decissions over the city, like, in this case, placing a new signal on the road. It's not a bug, it's not about limititations, it's simply that operators have had no time to place the text on it.

Text is not part of the road sign texture so it loads separately, detail view distance is lower than the actual view distance and in this case the signs are too far away for the text to load on to them.

Why not? If it wouldn't be detail distance, some peds climbing up there and placing the text would make sense.

I didn't play the game yet, but I've seen a few videos of that "Worst" mod for Watch Dogs where the guy was able to activate some disabled effects like the ones at E3 and he activated different settings of DOF, one of them actually looks like that in terms of distance view... could that be the ption R* actually chose for the game? I mean, you can see in the distance very far away, this effect could be used to "lower the quality" of the objects being displayed without using a lower LOD that looks uglier. I don't know, just an idea.

Yes and I think it was mentioned around here a few times and that some people said that the LG version also had them.

The DOF was just for the trailer i'm sure. DOF is only good for movies and some dumbasses think it's a good idea to put it in games.

As a PS4 owner I feel bummed out having it on PS3..

Then again if I knew in advance the PS4 version would come out fall 2014 I'd still have gotten the PS3 version.

A year would have been too much waiting time.
