We should focus on what we should expect from the game and some news, and if there is nothing to share, simple wait for it!
We should leave this money and selling discussion for Rockstar, not us!

Either that, or all seasonal updates will also come bundled Day 1 with the PC and NG versions. Then we can get entirely different themed updates the next year.

All these holiday exclusive cars are still on the web site listed as "out of stock" so I'm pretty sure that they will unlock annually on the specific date on top of the all new special content they make on those days each year.

Same goes for special items and inventory (and even the snow). When the event comes we will have brand new stuff matching the particular holiday and once again we'll get access to the old ones from the previous year too.

 

I can't wait to see the new gen winter on Xmas.

In fact, I think it highly possible that XBOne will do the worst in sales overall, unless R* really dishes out something extra to make up for PS4 favouritism up to this point.

Got me thinking. That's some numbers I would like to see. I suspect a lot (not all) of PS4 owners are younger/cheap gamers, and i suspect some of those people only bought the system because it was $100 cheaper. Im saying sales should be even, more PS4's out there but with cheap owners.......... we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm not bringing up how much GTA sold on a previous generation of consoles, am I? You've not really addressed any particular thing I've said at all. I'm just stereotyping Xbox players (notice how it's not a rant). Plus, this is the XBOne we're talking about - a whole different machine which even old Xbox players would have had to buy again - I'm going by a really partial viewpoint (that A LOT of Xbox players are more of the "American college frat-boy" or "English chav" demographic than GTA players, who tend to be a lot more well-balanced, perfect people who are the greatest examples of human society [/bias]) and judging that if most Xbox players who I know are like that and have not liked GTA, it could reflect most of the market. Yes, IV sold a lot, I also heard a lot of complaints from some of those same people about IV, plus MS had exclusivity which went towards it. And if you ask me (and as a PS-for-life gamer, it pains me to say this) Xbox360 WAS the better of two consoles, but now that's changed and Sony have clearly taken the lead. So when I say GTA will sell better on PS and PC (who are probably are amongst the biggest fanbase for GTA) than Xbox (who are busy waiting for the next Halo) it shouldn't be TOO shocking, but should definitely be taken with a pinch of salt.

I've come across the same as well. Most 360 players are on GTA V. Only a few players play games like BF4 on next gen.

I don't believe that those visuals had anything to do with any version. They just simply composed the scenes for the trailer, put everything interesting and interactive in the shots, scattered lots of details all around, as much as they could gather, but only where the action takes place. There is also plenty of NPC activity and animation that never meant to be in the game.

And to be honest I'm a bit afraid that they did the exact mischief again with the NG reveal trailer. There's simply too much different going on in the scenes.

I'm looking forward for the 2405 house, if it is like the 1st trailer then that will be the answer, the same applies for those beautiful tree models where those 3 NPC's are looking to Mt. Ch.

 

I don't believe that they would compose scenes like that and say it was from LG, when it was obvious that LG version would never be like that ... and it turned out to be true. Some of the things you see are too damn obvious, easily achievable with "CG" but not in LG. I mean come on we saw screenshots where there was vegetation (that one with some station wagon next to a palm tree) that screen was released some months before the actual game and the game didn't had that particular plant, the same goes for the scenario under the bridge and others... you can't believe that they had a magic button that they pressed and removed every little vegetation detail from each inch of the map when they released the LG version.

As I said in order for the Bug Logs to be started in 2012, the game had to be in development for at least 1 year, you don't do Beta extensive Testing when you're still designing the game models, all has to be in place and working.

I think those shadows on the wall at left are way too detailed/advanced, and the lighting on the Grove NPC the same...

I don't know... I can be underestimating the last gen console graphics...

Thats from the Franklin Trailer. We should definitely see that detailed shadowing and lighting in the new version.
