GTA V coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC this fall!

Since we didn't get any news today, I'm really expecting a delay to early 2015.

Today's Sony conference changed very little about the present situation, in my opinion. I wouldn't jump to conclusions like, the game is not coming out this year. That's just absurd and contradicts what we have heard for the past two months. Rockstar themselves announced a release window instead of a release date to avoid any delay. You could argue they did the same almost two years ago when the 'Spring 2013' release window was announced, and the game ended up releasing in September. However, it's clear that they had learned from their past mistakes. They went with a release window for the PS360, and they did the same with next-gen and PC.

The chances for a postponement are slim this time, since the base game was finished over a year ago. Remember, the game is still the same, it's graphically enhanced on the new platforms, it will feature improved AI, and it will maybe even feature some exclusive gameplay features- but the rest is still the same. It's not a new title.

Another reason why I consider a delay unlikely is that Take-Two haven't changed their projects for the rest of this fiscal year, which ends in March 2015. We know from the last conference call that 40% of the revenue will come from Rockstar. If my serves me right, they pretty much had the same projections on the conference call three months ago. And to further substantiate the point, this was the last conference call before the start of fall. The next financial report will be published in late October or early November, which is the middle of the fall.

Lastly, if you have listened to the Microsoft conference today, you will know that they said that GTAV is coming this fall. There is literally nothing that indicates otherwise. Not that a delay is impossible but I think it is very unlikely.

I'm gonna sit down and wait patiently for this game.

I don't know why are you complain about GTA V, even if it's gonna be released in 2017 is not to much, really, let's think positive. We have a long life.

Does anybody know if it's true? And if is, at what moment did they say so?

This has been known since the announcement of the new versions. Everyone and anyone can transfer their last-gen progress to next-gen consoles. Regardless if it's Xbox One or PS4, and also regardless of their last-gen console. So yes, you can import your GTA Online progress from PS3 to XB1.

The exact same goes for PC. PS3 to PC and 360 to PC.

It's true. But progression transfer is made by a third party software, so you can transfer for any plataform to any platform.

With this attitude, Rockstar won't get any sh*t done. It takes them a full year just to release a remastered version of a game. No heists and singleplayer DLC yet.

There is really no excuse for not delivering content to your game that was promised 10 months ago. More importantly, content that is in no way a huge undertaking to get working. In comparison to making a fully fledged video game, at least.

In fact, Vice City was made in 9 months. Now you might say it was easier to make at the time, but imagine capturing all the lines of dialogue with the actors. Ray Liotta and the other celebrities that were involved. Surely it was much more difficult to coordinate than finishing up content that was supposed to be in your game at launch, but was delayed, even after the initial delay of said game to October 1st (talking about the 2 week-long GTA:O delay).

Regarding the new versions, the silence is unbelievably needless. Rockstar, you are not making a whole new game here. You are bringing a 1 year old game to a wider audience on PS4, XB1 and PC. It's not f*cking rocket science. Stop sniffing the paint and DO SOMETHING already.

For f*cks sakes.

If i was to make a new PSN account on PS4 and replace it with my previously linked PSN account on Social Club, would it carry my Online progress over to PS4 or will i have to keep the same PSN account? just curious

Some people may think that we are being whiny b*tches, but in all seriousness, there is a reason for it.

It's been 63 days of silence from Rockstar, and fall starts in five weeks. 63 days of silence for a remastered game. You would have thought that they would at least have announced a release date by now, or some system requirements. 104 pages into this topic now we continue to wait. Almost a year after the original product was released, and lots of PC players still haven't gotten the chance to see the game that they have been following, and maybe PS4 and Xbone people too, if they didn't buy the current gen version.

Come on, the wait is not needed. Give us some more information soon.

That's the one thing that bugs me too. This is a game that has been played by millions of people already. (Excluding those who held off for PC) There should be more news and screenshots being shown off.

I'm feeling good about this month though. There's gotta be something on the newswire.

why does it always have to be you?...hahahaha...why i gotta be all that?..i mean lets be real...where in the rules does it say they have to start releasing info at a certain point?...they could hold off giving info until the middle of september...and still be on schedule to release in the fall. i really wanna meet the jabroni thats gonna hold off buying the game because of an information drought. f*ck that...we waited 2 years...and a damn delay from spring to september...and i was right there for a midnight release...and i know $800m of profit made in 24 hrs worth of people...

howabout we catch a grip...and realize theres more to do...TRUST me...i havent been to Los Santos since Christmas...i need to go back..ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....but im also a realist..and if i was rockstar...i could careless about making the fans wait just a bit more knowing im gonna overload the mass with info...and deliver and a great game...
