Hide from the cops with a wanted level indefinitely

In the warehouses at La Mesa, across the road from the LSC on the right of the map, there's a stairwell in one of the buildings leading to the roof, it's accessable from the long stairs on the outside.

 

The cops won't follow you in the stairwell, they also won't go away, meaning you can stay there with a 5 star wanted level indefinitely.

I drove line an NPC right past a cop in a 3 star before.

It's very funny, if you go to the top of the stairwell and hide next to the doorway, the cops won't walk through it even if you have a 5 star wanted level!

 

They only way they'll go through the doorway is if they crowd round it and one gets pushed through, and then they shoot you.

I own the Murietta Heights garage near by and didn't even know there's a stairwell in that building. Good hideout if someone tries to kill you with a helicopter's rotor blades while you're in passive mode.

That's actually become my new favourite place, since I bought the 6-car garage downstairs. You get a nice view of the city from the very top, and you can get round most of the roof to change viewpoint. Very handy if, like me, you enjoy sniping. There's also only one way up to the roof, via a ladder. You would not believe how many people have come for me when I'm up there, pointing my shotgun directly at where they're about to be.

I've *never* been hit by an air strike. It's the most obvious attack in the game. You don't need to see the flare as there's only 1 thing in the game that makes that noise, and it's the air strike jet.

Love the view on that roof. That's where I killed someone for a bounty and made him rage after I went into passive 'cause I was picking my nose on top of a container. I don't really use that warehouse. I prefer the tracks when escaping the police.

interesting, theyve always come to wherever i am, though i never tried to find a place they cant go. they climb the ladder or stairs or if on a roof with none they repel from choppers, very cool, and annoying, lol!
