race world records are BS

oke so is it me or are some race world records done by superman or chuck norris cause some records are like 55 seconds :S what the f is that all about?

But, some of them are hacked. For example Down the Drain's record sits at just over 2 seconds

Criminal Records is 0.28 seconds. WTF. It said my fastest lap time was 0.30 seconds. I never even went that fast.

Yea I was playing that new only Zentorno race the other day and it said fastest lap time 12 seconds. It probably took me about 12 seconds just to get to the first checkpoint -_-

To be fair, there are a few that make no sense and are obviously hacked, but I know from years of GT and Forza that sometimes people are just unbelievably fast.

An automatic red flag is seeing a vehicle like Gauntlet get top spot, getting 10-20sec under high performance vehicles like Bati's and Entity's. Why Rockstar doesn't automatically flag any lap time which is out of line with the vehicles' theoretical best for the track, I'll never know.

I know a lot of World records are hacked times on the original tracks, i have noticed on a few of the the added races most of the times seem legit

I for one would like to see RS wipe the slates clean

Sad pathetic people the ones who've glitched and hacked those lap times...that desperate to be number 1 at something, probably because they suck at everything else in real life.

Every time I start a new race that I've never done before, I look at the world record and double it, to get a realistic idea of how long a lap will actually be. None of my cars have any meaningful performance mods, but unless they added portals or something, I don't know how those records can be legit.
