Gta 5 coming to next gen, article/video on yahoo

Recommended Posts

everyone knows its coming for next gen and pc

where is the actual footage though? nobody cares about these news sites telling us things we already know

Nice for the source not to be some b.s. site for once. I knew it was coming, just glad were getting relable sources now, well somewhat reliable.

Seems like a waste of money, they should of started on GTA 6 by now.

Really, everybody who loves GTA already has this game for PS3 or 360. It's the same game, is that many people really going to the the current gen version to buy a next gen version?

How is it a waste of money? I bet they already have the PC version done with and are just working on next gen so they can release them side by side.

Cause buyers in the GTA market already own the game. Why sell your current game just to buy the same game again on a different machine. Sure PS4 graphics will beat PS3's, but whoopy de do. That's sure worth ANOTHER $70 out of my pocket. Plus players of online will have to start their ranks all over again, I'm sure not many want to do that.

To me the GTA 5 market already seems full with GTA5, and I don't see enough incentive for most players to upgrade or buy the game a second time, I sure as hell wouldn't.

At least GTA6 would be a new game with stores lining up with people to buy it. But another version of a already existing game? I don't see it.

You have to remember though that the processing power of Xbox One and PS4 are much greater than the 360/PS3. If the "same game" is released on these platforms, you really think Rockstar is going to include the exact same features? Sure the graphics will be better, but also a lot more content could be added because those systems have more resources to be used at any given time.

Lol, yahoo. Credibility = none.

Pretty much. When it comes to gaming "news", Yahoo is about as credible as a random blog that uses youtube and forum rumors as it's primary source of information.

All the video says is what's already known: that R* is working on a current gen game. Exactly what it is, is unknown and they're just assuming it's a GTA port. Like almost all GTA related news, the video is pure speculation.

Remember how many articles claimed this would come in December? And January? And February? And March? And May? And June has finally come, and low and behold no next gen reveal yet.

Sites always do this and claim it to be a few months ahead, and they're still doing just that

The most important aspect for me is the breast physics; game developers have not quite mastered that area of a females body.

Rockstar has done well though, as far back as San Andreas I can remember watching lesser clad female npc's bouncing their chests as they walked down the street.

If they can accurately simulate the residual ripple effect, and the gelatinous motion of breasts on next gen I would buy that up in a heartbeat.

You could chip a tooth on those ladies down at the Vanilla Unicorn.

Anyway's don't believe the hype.

Porting it to "next gen/current gen" wouldn't solve their massive server issues. From what I've been told, cloud servers were never meant to be used in this manner. The game servers are trying to pull way too much data from too many different cloud servers at once.

If GTAO wasn't so massively popular then they might've gotten away with it but not with the sheer volume of players it has now.

This guy's got the right idea. R* needs to get their priorities in order.
