I love survival because I can 20k in just a few minutes and the RP is huge. However I'm getting a bit bored as it's the same old thing over and over so lets give rockstar some ideas for the next update to make survival better. I'm think an RDR style zombies.

I know people exaggerate so vastly on this forum that it's become the largest collection of exaggeration in the world, but that's just beyond ridiculous. Don't you mean more like 15-20 minutes?

How about a survival where an endless horde of kittens bunnies unicorns attack, with the occasional fairy in place of the helicopter? It would be a very nice change from all the zombie related crap that exists.

I used to only play Survival because you used to be able to pick up any ammo on the ground and it would add it your cache.

Now, you have to pay for your own ammo, so your final payout, depending on how free you are with your triggers, is only $9,000-$14,000 after the cost of all your ammo.

And the RP is nothing precious, either. They reduced it significantly from where it was a few months ago.

So, between the cost of ammo, mehtzah-metzah RP payout, and the 20-30 minutes it takes to complete 10 waves, I'll stick with Rooftop Rumble and Potshot, thank you.

If you like spending $10,000 on a shooting gallery, by all means. However, go to Ammu-nation and do the shooting range challenges. They are tougher and you get awards.

No zombies. They're Cliche', boring, overrated and wouldn't fit in with the theme of GTA Online. (A criminal trying to work their way up the ranks of the underworld of LS)

 

Maybe a riot for an IRL day or so (like the Christmas snow), where the city is in "Riot mode" Like GTA SA, but none of this zombie Sh!t.

How about adding climbing and free running techniques, and make it so you can dive off tall buildings into big piles of hay, and you can use stealth and assassinate people with blades that are attached to your wrists that you can retract, and maybe set it somewhere historical and have some religious themes to it but it turns out we're all born of aliens anyway?

what survival really needs is harder waves and bigger payout, players need to team up instead of 1vx and screw everyone

Survival is a terrible grind. It's only useful early on, assuming you can't get a higher level player to invite you to the real money-makers.

So a criminal rising through the ranks isn't cliche, boring, and overdone? Also, RDR wasn't a zombie game but an entire zombie themed DLC was made for it, how would this be any different?

RP in survivals is not that bad, think about how many enemies you kill:

 

25 rp per enemy.

per wave, there are nearly 20 enemies, 10 waves: 25*20*10= 5000 RP just for the killed enemies.

 

I think it's just 17 enemies per wave but I think you get additional RP for taking out choppers so it's still quite a lot of RP!

 

Assuming you solo it, of course.

a few minutes. That's not 2-3 minutes, more like 5-6.

 

Using traditional aim, which a majority of players use, you can clear out a wave within 30 seconds with ease, assuming you have 2-3 friends. I use survivals to gain quick cash, it doesn't take anywhere near 20 minutes unless you're a noob who camps all day.

But he's not exaggerating, he's complaining that survivals are not dynamic or unique in any way - whereas Undead Nightmare from RDR was a lot more fun. So what if he's better than you at completing survivals? You're doing the whole 'oh, if I can't do it then nobody can' approach, which is just plain ignorant.

Survivals are bad for grinding cash mate. You better play Rooftop Rumble if you want quick cash and rp

 

The only reason to prefer survivals to jobs is fun. There are lots of possibilities for taking out the waves

 

But if you are able to finish a survival in 5-6 minutes, chapeau! Then it's worth it
