Forza Horizon 2

Hmm... if this article has any legitimacy to it then expect something called Forza hub to be announced soon.

Microsoft has registered a new trademark for “Forza Hub” With Forza Horizon 2 being launched later this year for both the Xbox 360 as well as the Xbox One, now appears to be as good of time as any to bring everything under a new roof.

From what we can tell from the trademark application it appears that it will be a new online we-based portal for the Forza series of games. We suspect that will pickup the stats and rewards that we have already seen on forzamotorsports.com as well as the news and community offerings as well.

We have not been able to find out much about what is being planned. A lot of talk and rumors, but sources we spoke with claim that everyone seems pretty tight lipped as to what is being planned.

It would be nice to see it become an actual application like Halo Waypoint, but that might be a little too much to hope for at this point. Look for Forza Hub to be launched around the same time as Forza Horizon 2 appears.

I was hoping they would develop an application like Waypoint, so it tracks all of your info and stats from older games as well.

Still sucks that it's on XBOX One. I played Forza Horizon on my XBOX 360 a lot. Never played online though. I had fun buying and customizing cars and just driving around. Just about everything about the game was great. Looks like no more Forza for me.

FH2 on 360 will probably have the same graphics as the first FH.. they're not too shabby, either. I have no complaints against that. It's an aging console.

Well, it may be dumbed down if we compare it to the Xbone version, but it still may be worthy successor to the first Horizon.

But FH1 has cars like the Sesto Elemento and the FXX which aren't road legal either which made me think about it. I guess it's just a waiting game

Which is a kick in the trousers for Xbox 360 owners. Still, grab your Xbox One (or a friend's, with their permission) and give the demo a good seeing to when it hits mid next month. There's no word yet whether it'll resemble the demos that were on show at E3, Gamescom or PAX, but you'll be able to see if you're happy with the Xbox One version running at 1080p, 30fps. I suspect you will/won't/don't care as long as it's fun.
