Yeah, FH2 on 360 uses the original game engine from Horizon. On X1, it uses a modified engine from FM5.

 

Anyway, I was surprised when I got this today! It came straight to my door. I'm loving it already. Where can I find the pictures that I have taken? I would like to post them here.

Good, I was getting a bit worried. Also that's great news. I wish I could play mine before Christmas.

Oh god the hype is real. I cannot wait. Gonna spend all of my 20 bucks on the DLCs too. I really want the M4.

Undriven roads are more faded than roads you've driven. Get to scanning that map.

It could be a very small part, possibly blocked by some sort of icon. I suppose you could upload a picture of your map to if any of us could find it.

You've drive ALL of the roads already?

You can filter the icons off as well, which helps. At least on Xbone anyway.

Well, yes. Most of the races helped me. I did a bit of cruising in the BRZ as well

I still haven't seen all parts of the map, I've tried my best not to spoil myself. I wish they'd add the Swiss Alps with switchback roads though. That, to me, would be way better than Storm Island.

I'm still holding out for the Swiss Alps, but I dunno. It doesn't seem as popular a destination as one might believe it to be. Dunno why, roads like this are amazing;

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyway, Storm Island turned out pretty good IMO. The Storm Island finale was a lot more challenging than the base game's one. Hope there's a way to replay the race.

My old man complained about there not being much to do (variety wise), so went back to FM5 (while I've kept playing Horizon 2) despite all he does on FM5 is drag racing, online anyway.

It sounds like he likes closed circuit racing more. You have free range of roads to drift, a massive highway to do highway pulls, drags or wangan roleplay, dirt trails to rally on (not to mention storm island), and crusing.

I assume FM6 would be out soon. Most of the recent games (from FM3) have released later in the year.. I am wondering if that will ever change. It would be awesome to see a new release before Summer

That would be great. Would probably launch in September though. I don't even have Horizon 2 yet I'm excited for the 3rd game. What if it takes place in California, or even better, the Pacific Northwest? That would be great.

What's the community like with this? Is the main focus free roam? Played the demo but that doesn't give a big enough indication.

As far as I know, I might be getting Motorsport 5, too. I'm gonna have Motorsport 5 for when I wanna actually race and Horizon 2 for when I wanna have car meets and all of the other goodies.

I don't mind them taking their time, makes for a better game. The thing I like about these games is that DLC's feel relevant. The DLC's for GTA are great, but since it's a game for everything, you expect so much more.

They've had a whole year to really work on a new Motorsport game, which is nice. It's great that we now have a mix of simulation and arcade style racing games coming from Forza
