You can't get anywhere near the mountains or the Volcano so they're just something you look at in the background

 

 

 

It's the main map all over again, uuugh. I will probably end up getting it because without the rally kit upgrades, offroading is a pretty sub par experience, so it'll be necessarily in that regard.

 

Hopefully Storm Island means that future map additions are a possibility. The game is in serious need of the Alps being added IMO, as there's only really one hill climb present in the game and it barely counts.

Does this game have actual visual customisation?

Full, advanced livery editor and all cars have visual upgrades as well, including rims and body kits (it's just Forza Aero bumper and spoiler for some cars though).

 

I guess the Storm Island repeat the history of Rally Pack from FH, which wasn't bad, but a bit overpriced.

If the rally upgrades are worth getting, Ill probably get it then since there is no way to lift the car past stock ride height without the "expansion pack"

I only spent $40 on the Day 11 edition and car pass, so Id only be spending regular price on the game, car pass, and expansion pack

Well if the first game is anything to by the rally parts are probably OP AF in races that don't rely on top speed.

It all depends if your into rallying. I love to take off everything in the hud and grab one of my rally tuned cars and tear up a back trail from cockpit.

Rally races arent about speed, hence the OP ness on turns.

Rally cars are made for acceleration and handling (plus uber jumps of course)

Downloaded the demo yesterday and I played for a few hours this morning. Gave me all the feels. Definitely buying the full game soon.

I remember in Forza Horizon, I had this Mitsubishi EVO X customized to be a rally car. It was one of my favorite cars in the game. It could compete with some super cars and was amazing to drive offroad. I feel like the EVO X isn't in the game. Is this true?

Can't wait to drive the RS5. I wanted the RS5 so bad in Horizon 1 but all we got was an RS4 Avant instead. Wanted an actual grand tourer.

It's kinda stupid for the 360 version having the EB110 SS and the XJ220 as exclusive cars for that version of the game.

It's just a way to get people to purchase the game for which ever system they have. Like the X1 is missing the E46 M3 and a few other obvious cars. Possible DLC Later on hopefully.

The handling on 360 is worse than it is on One right? Not gonna lie, I didn't enjoy driving the WRX on 360.

Yeah, FH2 on 360 uses the original game engine from Horizon. On X1, it uses a modified engine from FM5.

 

Anyway, I was surprised when I got this today! It came straight to my door. I'm loving it already. Where can I find the pictures that I have taken? I would like to post them here.

It definitely seams like a really low par part. I'm surprised people are actually paying $60 for it.

Not a lot of stores charge $60. Online you can easily spend only $30 for it..
