You can buy the proper Junk soda from the vending machine in the agency while the eCola machines still give Sprunk cans. 🙄

the character presses the sprunk button when they buy it so it does make sense. Also you can buy e-cola as a snack (and it gives like 20% of the health bonus of the sprunk for some reason)

The imani tech cars have a special icon despite not being weaponized. The Toreador, which has infinite missiles, doesn't.

Old news, but the hyperinflation of not-so-expensive cars in the game though updates. The Maxwell Asbo is listed at $408.000 while I got away with my Corsa C with 108.000 km on the clock for roughly $4.000.

The Asbo drives like it is slipping in butter while my Corsa rides like a dream. Either I got a good bargain on the car, or Rockstar should have fixed their inflated prices years ago before it got out of hand. I mean, I can get away with a Banshee for $90.000, which is a fairly realistic price considering the 2013 Dodge Viper SRT had a starting price around $100.000.

I guess where I'm heading with this post is, that what ever Online will become when GTA VI finally gets launched, I genuinely hope Rockstar will have a proper economical plan for the prices of items (including vehicles) that correlates properly with the payment through jobs and heists. Perhaps a game economy so logical and realistic that it does resemble the Deutsch mark in 1923.

They had to throw a bone to the griefers. I bet it caused them pain to add the Missile Jammer tech so out of spite they gave them icons so griefers know to go after other people.

Oh indeed, I never even noticed there are different buttons 🤦‍♂️, also stuff that could be ice tea or something.

Masks. Other than fun aesthetics, they are useless but some missions prompt you to wear them. If Rockstar had made it to where you put on the mask, commit a crime and then you can take the mask off and get away from the cops then I could justify their usage. They are great for role play, showing off your personal style, making videos, or just having goofy fun. But in terms of actual game play mechanics, they serve no benefit.

If you're in a vehicle putting on or taking off a mask will reduce the wanted level by 1 star. Useful if you're in a helicopter and drop it from 3 to 2 stars.

Never knew that. Of course, my character is either wearing one all the time or never wearing one. Except in missions, I've never put on and taken off a mask during a session.

The Rt3000 does as well. I like to think that this is just an annis intercooler that you use on other cars. Is like putting a nismo intercooler in a toyota, in the tuner scene is nothing new.

Let's add one of the few remaining contemporary yet accessible sports cars with a huge modding community and a cult-classic-in-the-making status, but first:

1. Let's withhold said car from a tuner-orientated DLC. 🤦

2. Let's use it to debut a new specialized workshop with exclusive parts. 🤔

3. Let's give it a pretty generic bodykit & severely limit the amount of things you can modify in this car. 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

4. Oh, those exclusive parts? Just throw in a couple of fugly liveries and a generic spoiler.

This is the Elegy RH-8 all over again.

To be fair though, the S95 is a well made car with a unique engine model & decent stock wheels despite the recycled 10 year old interior.

Players made countless pics,  clips and videos of mele combat and even full movies of fight clubs.  No DLC or even improvements to fighting so its better.

Players do nothing of the sort for dancing yet R* makes a DLC with nightclubs and dancing THEN circles back in a following update and adds another nightclub under the casino with additions to dancing like dancing with a partner.  smh 🙄

The S95 is the pure definition of wasted potential. A gt86, which is the second most popular track day toy only losing to the miata, in game that we can't even strip down the interior ? I can only think of it being rushed because the is no other explanation. The same goes for tinting the lights, changing steering wheel, interior colour (which there is a white version of this interior used in the tailgater S), the list goes on. We can strip down the interior of the schlagen which is a high end sportscar that wasn't even part of a car oriented dlc.

Lester: Steal some weapons to rob the Casino. Remember they must be UNMARKED so they can't be traced back to you. Actually you know what? Just steal an entire Riot Van from the police, lose the cops and park it in your Arcade. It's fine.

Cayo Perico scope out:-
"The signal box could have moved since you were last here, Kapitan.

Upstairs, downstairs... you will need to look around."

Well firstly, they're not stairs.
But secondly and perhaps more importantly, who in the hell is carrying the damn signal box up the tower, when it's not on the ground? That's at least a two person job, and up ladders...

It just shows you how bizarre some design choices are when fundamentally it doesn't make sense.

What kinda bothers me in that scope mission is that we can't grab anything. I could sneak a duffel bag inside the plane and I retrieve it when the guard is not looking, then steal some cash, weed or coke and get back to LS.

My crew and I were doing the Union Depository mission from the Auto Shop again and it still blows my mind how that mission works. Everything is fine until you start grabbing the gold. First off, what is the point in sneaking in if the alarm is just going to go off anyway? Second, what is the point in driving into the depository with the armored security truck if the cops just impound it as soon as you get to the parking lot? That mission finale just makes all the setups feel pointless.

My headcanon is that the alarm goes off BECAUSE of the blackmail. Ses says she's going to send the pictures even if we do get the access codes. If I was the manager I'd be watching and pull the alarm as soon as my blackmailer entered the vault. Get them killed or put in prison and try to hide my part of it.

The clothes come with the security car. So, at least there's that... But yeah, it's poor writing and design.

Tony values not getting puke in his car over saving a life. My character agrees.

Eh, it only seems badly written if you look at it backwards - it's like the whole "Raiders of the Lost Ark is built around a giant plot hole!" argument, which only holds up if you ignore one crucial fact: the characters don't know what's going to happen to them!

So "why did we steal a car to sneak in?" - same reason as the Prison Break heist: we wouldn't have been able to just march in the front door without a disguise, would we? Same with trying to pull it off like Agent 47, hiding in plain sight, only for everything to go south and forcing us to shoot our way out - the plan changed, but we didn't know it would until it was too late. Imagine playing it without knowing how the mission would pan out - you'd start off expecting a sneaking mission, and then you'd have the surprise of being rumbled midway through.

Heck, you could apply that to movies: "why did the bank robbers in Heat spend all that time trying to be sneaky at the beginning, if they just had to shoot their way out later anyway?" - probably because they weren't psychic, or more accurately, they weren't videogame characters playing through the scenario for the umpteenth time with the benefit of knowing everything beforehand! :p

And yeah, the most likely implication is that the manager gave sub-par IDs, which is why they didn't hold up to scrutiny - that's what you get for extorting someone, rather than finding someone with a grudge who actually wants to help you succeed (like the guy from Fleeca in the Bank Contract). Or maybe the IDs don't work without some other factor that Sessanta and co. didn't think to take into account, and they just straight-up screwed up - that's a thing that happens. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's like my big complaint with the CinemaSins approach to looking at story writing: characters making human errors =/= "plot holes", and "good writing" doesn't mean 'everyone acts perfectly logically at all times, and events play out like a piece of precision engineering'.
