The Jester going from being a second gen NSX, to a fourth gen Supra, to a fight gen Supra.

 

inb4 they eventually yet another Jester based on a first gen NSX for further confusion.

I may have mentioned this one before, but I don't remember, so here it is again.

In the I/E missions where you steal a car from the stunt filming area the game has a popup saying the usual stealth things(stay out of the cone of vision, take out the guards one by one when they can't see each other with a silenced weapon, etc.). However, the second you take out any guard, even if he's miles away from all the others and they're all looking away, they all get alerted. Why tell the player that you can take them out stealthily when it's literally impossible to do that? There are a few other missions like this that I don't recall, but know they exist, but there are also missions where you can take out enemies with stealth without alerting the rest and it gives the exact same popup for those. Why the inconsistency? Why do I have to go through trial and error to find out which stealth missions actually allow stealth takedowns and which ones don't?

That happens to me all the time. The Oppressor and Terrorbyte spawn fine as do planes and helicopters, otherwise like you I'm diving into the docks for a brisk swim over to Merryweather. As annoying as it is, as it doesn't affect the sales of Shark Cards, it will NEVER be fixed!

You can get around this issue on the stunt jump I/E by not taking out any guards. Just time it so none of them are looking when you get into the car. Added bonus is no one comes after you. 

 

As a general rule of thumb, tho, stealth kills really only work on heists & a couple of setups (Series A - Bikers & HLR - Deliver EMP). Everything else, killing one guard sets them all off. And, yes, it's total bullsh*t. Of course, IRL there's no such thing as a "silencer" for guns, so really none of it should work. We obviously have Hollywood guns.

Yeah, that's what I do, I was more reminiscing on the first few times I tried it. That's true though, you wouldn't be able to shoot someone undetected really ever IRL.

 

On the topic of the I/E stunt jump, it's also silly how you can sneakily get in the car and take the jump and the assistant texts saying "they may even be able to use that shot", as if they're just filming the jump 24/7 before the stunt is even about to take place.

Uhm....no? Seriously, just no. 

Cayo Office Weapons. Stealth it perfectly? Still alert everyone the second you exit to the roof. Because "Muh R* Logic"

Cayo Safe Code Prep? lol f*ck no. The only "Stealth" to be had is the two guards outside the penthouse. Other than that there is no stealth to it. 

This is just two I can think of off the top of my head.

Don’t forget the hacking device setup from

the casino heist where you have to go to the server farm, and no matter how good your infiltration was, the alarm still goes off upon exiting that sh*thole :kekw:

I've had it not go off about one single time....just f*cking once. The other half a dozen or so times it went off no matter what I did. I still hate that place thanks to DHH setups.

None of the suppressed weapons seem to really work properly. Doesn't matter where you are or which weapon you used, cops always seem to show up where you are.

It's clear Rockstar doesn't know what it is doing with silenced weapons or sneaking in this game and should never have bothered to put it in.

Suppressed weapons can be heard clearly from a few 100 yards away. Only thing is it suppresses the main "Crack" of the shot so it's next to impossible to fully pen down where the shot came from. 

In other words, about 100 IQ points more than R* has atm is needed to fully make Suppressors work correctly.

Buy new shop, fill it with muscle cars you already own only to find out none of them can be used in the new missions.

R* having to convert existing locations into auto shops, because a large percentage of the existing auto shops on the map (Helmut's European Autos, for one) have been used up as ...arcades, warehouses, etc. :turn:

Lots of people moan about KDJ + Sessanta... previously it was LJT or Pavel, before that it was Lester. 
The wild and stupid thing is that in at least one or two previous games, players could skip dialogue from phone calls and perhaps other things, simply by pressing down on the d-pad. That was certainly the case in GTA IV.
So... why is that not a thing here? 

Okay, so we can hang up the phone - that's fine - but sometimes there's pieces of information or hidden references in the dialogue and there's many times players have done the same missions over and over, and just want to skip it. 

It seems totally illogical to remove features that "make sense" from previous games or just make the gameplay experience better for the end user. 
Yes, this is sort of a bitch & moan, but I'd really like to drill home how, from a players perspective, some of these game to game changes are illogical.

Tweedlehoe and TweedleMFker solution: steal a truck ramp from a movie shoot. 

 

I mean... I appreciate that Rockstar has probably fired most of the staff that originally worked on GTAV... but, they do know that there's a stunt jump into the prison already, right?

Standing by dirt road in middle of desert, call for car, car spawns miles away on sealed road. No NPC vehicles nearby so I have to hoof it across the desert. Standing near sealed road a near my facility, call for car, car spawns on the hill half way between me and the facility, I don't have to go very far, but still, there seems to be no logical rhyme or reason for where they spawn personal vehicles sometimes

Won the new podium car from ls car meets a few days ago. After you win it, it wont show in the car meet anymore, but the guy with his camera is still there and takes pics of ...nothing i guess.

Hey, let's give players the option to remove radio stations they don't listen to from their dial and make that the TOP option on the interaction menu even though they will likely only ever use this feature once.

Oh, and let's move all of the other stuff they're used to finding via muscle memory into a separate sub menus in completely random order on the list of options nowhere near where they used to be and not tell them this before making the update live and allow them to find out in the middle of a fire fight so they die over and over again because they keep activating a radio option menu instead of applying life restoring snacks or body armor.

Plot twist: he's now happier, because someone got rid of the car on the back that was cluttering up his shots... :p

 

Also, I can't wait for R* to get through all the new tuners as Prize Rides, start adding previous update vehicles instead, and eventually get around to letting you win ...a Slamtruck. :turn:

 

(place your bets as to whether they'll just let you win the LSC truck that's already there, or they put another Slamtruck on the back... :beerhat:)
