Seems EA is going to make a new Burnout game only because they aren't releasing a NFS game this year. Not like NFS MW 2 wasn't Burnout in the first place. Kind of excited for the Sims 4. Don't think it will be worth upgrading to though. All I really care about is The Crew now. I want it to succeed. I want developers to try and make games of that scale. Some new elements felt unnatural, they were great ideas but it didn't feel fluid enough. The Storyline was alright but didn't bring anything that interesting. The back story in Uncharted 3 made me appreciate the first Uncharted even more. The creators of Uncharted said in an interview that UC3 made all the new elements fit better into the game, unlike UC2 which I naturally felt that even before hearing the interview. I should be able to approach a game and do things automatically, instinctually, but it just didn't happen with UC2. All I got from the PS Brief was 'We get this exclusive content for this ( Insert multi platform game ) plus, we are remaking this game ( insert PS1 era game ) plus we are going to introduce VR headsets even though we laughed at MS for trying something new with Kinect' and the whole crowd eating it up. MS was no better. All they did is confirm sh*t we already knew. Yeah, they had games and that was great. I just think they needed to have secured more content for said games, especially the multi platform games. Hell, Destiny should be starring on the XB1 considering that Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox Live made Bungie into the phenomenal studio they are today. But really, the studios and publishers and MS and Sony need to stop this exclusive content bullsh*t for multi platform games. It isn't making me excited for them. In fact, I'll most likely ignore Destiny, Assassin's Creed, CoD, BF: Hardline and every other multi platform game in protest. Even games I was pumped for like Arkham Knight and The Crew. R* failed terribly (read PUT ZERO EFFORT INTO) GTAIV multiplayer for removing real cheats and such. They punished even the benign modders that wanted visual customisation. Plus, you must be a special kind of ignorant for stating only PC gamers are like that. Look at your beloved console gaming crowd in RDR... it has been for quite some time that online games get ruined by moddres/hackers in there too (same with Call of Duty games on consoles)... and you're telling me that the PC gaming community in online games are full of pricks? Master Chief Collection is quite cool, but we shouldn't need it in the first place. All we need is H2 servers running and this little, pointless thing called backwards compatibility. MS is just cashing in on nostalgia and Bungie's work. Both BF Hardline and Far Cry 4 look fun, but that's about it. AC Unity was easily the best thing I've seen this E3, but it's not a system seller for me. CoD AW was the biggest letdown I've experienced in a long time. No new IP from R*, no SP DLC for V, no Fallout 4, no Halo 5, no SW Battlefront, no AC Comet. I didn't have a single "Holy sh*t, this game will be f*cking amazing" moment, like with Assassin's Creed II, Just Cause 2 or Watch Dogs, when they first showed them at E3s years ago. I want some Star Wars Battlefront gameplay to see if they f*cked it up or not. The rest were the same crappy games they release year after year. Ubisoft did a bit better but am I the only one getting sick of Assassin Creed? Far Cry 4 did catch my eyes and I was glad Sony shown it off. I also didn't give a sh*t about their Dance game. MS they really didn't have anything interesting to say to me to improve my gaming experience. Sony was better but wish they didn't talk about that crappy PlayStation TV. The Last of Us Remastered, Grand Theft Auto V Remastered, Uncharted 4, No skies ( Think that's what its called ), and Destiny. This E3 was really lack luster. Johan Posted June 10, 2014 Share Posted June 10, 2014 E3 somewhat met my expectations, I expected Microsoft to do better than last year's mess, though most of their announcements didn't make me shout at my wallet to buy me a new Xbox One this year, there were plenty of great games. EA disappointed me, was expecting way more footage from Star Wars, Mirrors Edge and so on, but Hardline actually stole the show for me since I was going into the game not liking the idea or even caring about it, the demo they showed was impressive. Ubisoft killing it with entertainment as always, enjoy seeing Aisha Tyler ever since she was in Friends in the early 2000s during the final season I believe, her being a legit gamer is a bonus. Sony... I love them, started off okay, in the middle was meh, then at one point I honestly thought they were gonna end it with "No Man's Sky" which wasn't a bad thing because I am STILL impressed by this game ever since the Game Of the Year awards last year, but expected more from Sony.. and they delivered.
