name tags..

the name tags of players online do not appear when i meet them/see them.. i never know who i'm meeting unless i use the map or refer to the clothing.. i know there is somewhere to change this but can't seem to find it for my avatar..my son's avatar (under the same gamertag) has everyone's name on display above them when he approaches them...

 

please help...

 

i'm sure this affects my game play in close combat..

its in settings but it doesnt help much, they still dont show up half the time and usually not till they shoot you if you wait for the name and its the wrong guy, lol! super annoying for sure.
