iFruit Apps Now Available On PS Vita & Windows 8 PC's

For those of you who don't have an Android or iPhone cell phone and haven't been able to create a Personal Plate now have access to the iFruit app two others way now.

 

One is now available though the PS Vita which is a handheld Playstation console similar to the PSP.

 

How to access it is you go to the Playstation Store either though the Vita or Playstation.com once it is downloaded and your PS Vita is connected to your PS3 you can then open and use the iFruit app on your PS3.

 

iFruit App via Windows 8.

 

For those of you who don't have an Android or iPhone cell phone or the Vita now have access to the iFruit.

 

The way to get it is to go to the secondary area of the Windows 8 Desktop to where you are on the side of the titles.

 

Now you can either type in iFruit and then select the "Store" from the list of options that will appear or you can open the "Store" app itself then at the top right hand corner in the search box and type in "iFruit" and the iFruit app will come up click on that and download it.

 

Once it is downloaded on both of these consoles just open up the app put in your Social Club account name and you will log in and now you will have access to the Los Santos Custom app and you can then create your Personal Plate

The iFruit has been on W8 for 4 months atleast. Cool to have custom plates but i need to edit them a little. Is it possible?

You can go to the R* Support page and submit a ticket and tell them you messed up the spelling or something when you made the plates and they'll reset it for you,

Anyone have a direct URL to download it?I cannot access it from the store for some reason

It should've automaticly re-directed you to the Windows 8 Store when you opened that page, Just click the the "Find in Windows Store" and it'll re-direct you or open the Windows Store app and in the Search box type in iFruit and it'll download for you

I tried that, it does take me to the store however it shows the update page where I have to update my windows to 8.1. But no actual download link hence why I'm asking for a direct url. Win8 is nearly 4gb and will cap my net if I download it.

Hmm that update came out around 5 months ago your PC should've downloaded it already.

Yes but I'm not even sure if that is what is causing the lack of downloading for the iFruit. If iFruit is win8 compatible, shouldn't matter which win8 I have installed on this laptop.

 

I got my plate through ifruit for windows. It requires windows 8.1 to download.

 

If it still doesn't appear in the store after updating win8.1, try change your region settings.

Updated to win8.1 throughout the night for the download itself. But it's updated atleast.

 

No luck though, when I click on the option on the app page on the web, it opens the store but doesn't bring up the iFruit app. Searching for the app in store says it cannot be found.

 

iFruit app is a waste of time especially that it's always a f*cking mission to get this sh*t to work.

 

Any suggestions....?

The win 8 has been out for a while, it's very buggy.

 

Best advice is to just keep trying, my main characters plate worked on 2nd or third try but my other character took many more tires to get it to work.

 

You only need to change 1 plate per character and the option will be available for all their cars
