i never noticed you can ride around on the subway trains. I found this out last night.

Do you mean actually inside the train? How?

 

I found it by accident, always noticed the trains just never paid any attention to them. I spawned near a station so went down for a look, heard the rumble so I waited for it to arrive. Once your on the train the doors stay open.

I *think* this is new. It's certainly new to me and I've done it a lot recently, but I digest.

 

When you get on a bike, if you end up sat on the back half of the seat, like a passenger, push the left stick forward and you'll shift seats to become the driver. It can be a little laggy sometimes, but it does it consistently.

I forgot what thread I saw this on, but apparently the Combat MGs bullets go through the jets armours and can hit the pilot. Not sure if it's true though.

After a year of playing the game, I just came across this place last weekend. I feel like maybe the stairs were used in some SP mission, but it was probably at night. they're in the Mirror Park neighborhood, along one of the canals.

You can buy shoes/boots at any ammu-nation by the counter next to the armor. On the right wall you can also buy jackets. Look around the place, it's actually quite detailed and there's a few things you can do (well, those mentioned already, really).

I know, I just heard that the combat MG penetrates the armor, so he proved it wrong.

Yeah, had read that and was giving it a go when the chance presented itself. The first volley damaged the plane despite being locked onto the pilot, so I guess it's MYTH BUSTED.

Online isn't working right now so I was forced on single player. Playing as Michael, in a police chase and I get stuck under a cement truck. I thought it would do that slidey thing from under the vehicle and I would be free. Instead, Michael done some prone marine commando sh*t and and crawled backwards from under it.

I don't know where else to post this - has anyone else noticed that when you go into a convenience store online, if the clerk is rude to you, it's always the Chinese guy? The Indian clerk has no rude dialogue, he's always polite. Only the Chinese guy is ever rude to you.

 

EDIT: I guess he could be Korean. 'Generic East Asian store clerk' is probably more accurate.

Is this near the railway bridge, just up the road from LSC in east LS? If so I only noticed this spot recently too...especially the little dirt road at the bottom leading to the stairs.

I just noticed that Free Mode was a lot more fun in GTA IV Multiplayer compared to GTA Online.

 

No bounties, personal vehicles (have no ideas why we have PV... It's GRAND THEFT AUTO) every car could be my PV... and it seems a lot of GTA Online players are kids who never played GTA IV. I'm guessing GTA V is their first GTA game. Tragic

Yep, it's right above the entrance to the train tunnel. Funny, I've used that tunnel 100 times to escape the cops, but never saw the stairs until the other day. Here's another view of them.

Discovered that the Bravado Bison has a "first person view" if you are sitting in the back. I seem to stumble upon these first person views on a weekly basis, makes me wonder how many of them there are.

I just realized you can use the interaction menu to put a GPS on players. :U

 

Well there goes the last thing I needed to use the pause map for.

Oh no, you have to constantly set it.

It's useful though! all you need to do is hover over the player's name (in the menu where you can highlight them)

and press "Square" on PS3, or "X" on 360.

 

If you do that every few seconds, the GPS will follow them.
