I just drove past my old apartment towards my agency and noticed the garage door was open and you can drive in. There is a 6 or 8 car parking garage in there. Is this been open for a long time? i drive past this all the time and never noticed..

I saw someone else post about this last night, wonder if it's that specific one or other apartment garages too. That seems to be the placeholder garage for the "entering garage" cutscene but hey at least it's solid!

Every so often, I look at the vehicles page on Social Club, and chuckle when I see signs that a car was likely designed for one class, then swapped to another closer to being added to the game...

 

For instance, this is a typical Sports menu picture - parked at Pacific Bluffs (Country Club car park, if I'm not mistaken):

 

 

 

This is a typical Super picture - in the driveway at Devin Weston's mansion:

 

 

 

 

...and this is the pic for the Corsita, based on a real-world supercar, but in the Sports class in GTAO:

 

 

 

 

Same applies to the SM722, the Everon (SUV pic, but in the Off-Road class), Winky and Zhaba (both in Off-Road, but with Military-style pics), and Slamtruck (Utility Class, Off-Road pic).

 

...however, there are a couple of even more weird and amusing flubs on there: the Seminole Frontier gets an SUV-style pic and is classed as an SUV, but is listed on the Off-Road page for no good reason, while the Previon (the first new Coupé in ages) not only gets a Sports-style pic, but is also listed on the Sports page. Ahh, Rockstar and GTAO: consistently inconsistent...

I think they are also half naked, because the cocaine powder, once it's stuck on your clothing it's basicly gone, you can't get it off anymore, you only get it out if you wash it. But you can just scrape it off your skin like most other powdery substances.

 

Imagine if a worker in a coke lab would wear cotton gloves, most of the product would just stick to the gloves, that's why they wear latex gloves while working in there. Also because they probably stretch the coke with some other stuff, that is not so healthly on the skin.

 

Edit: What i noticed today, that after delivering goods to my Clubhouse, my PV gets teleported to the Docks. I think this happens because they built in a game mechanic so the car gets teleported to you, but because the Clubhouse is basicly at the Docks, it gets teleported there.

And something else, after accepting a Payphone Assassination from the Payphone, well after the cutscene, engine sounds of PV's change. My regular Banshee sounded completly different, it was like i only heard the turbo and a tiny bif of the engine. Maybe that is sound setup related, i play the game with surround sound.

If you are in a cutscene and have a working mic plugged in your character will actually move it's mouth when you speak through it even in cutscenes, so basically we are not mutes, we just literally never speak, it is hilarious to see your character "speak" during cutscenes and nobody pays attention to you, also if you have the bluetooth earplug device it will flash every time you talk in the mic.

Learned this today and was laughing my ass off shouting to certain characters in cutscenes.

Well, in the Fleeca heist it is mentioned that our characters are taciturn, not mutes.  Mutes can’t speak, taciturns choose not to.

I was able to fly a drone into the garage under Maze Bank a few months ago. I was even able to kill the guard with the stun feature.

One time I accidently spawned in there after being kicked from a heist or something, and was able to kill the guard too lol. Also I assumed I would be stuck but surprisingly I was able to exit by simply walking up to the gate.

Some of those names are not necessarily accurate too.

 

I mean, I don't remember crimson ever looking so vivid and bright like that.

And it just killed my illusion that we owned actual garages inside that parking garages, which were exclusive to owners of high end apartments...

I have noticed a "MC motorcycle squad" driving towards me around Stab City recent times when I pass there (on the dirt road from Grapeseed...)

Is  this a new feature? i can't recall it...

It's been in since launch or at least Bikers, I think it's just for flavour to imply that they are going to the Trailer Park.

It's in single player, so probably there since launch. It's rare to see in Online. I think it depends on what vehicles are spawning at that time. If that motorcycle isn't on the list then they won't spawn.

Not only that, but GTAV and GTAOnline get different screenshots of cars that are shared between as well, quite the task that must have been for the dev who did that.

 

I check there every now and then myself too just to see what a cinematic screenshot of a specific vehicle looks like.

 

Also worth pointing out, they have a screenshot of a Police Buffalo, which isn't in online, and the Fixer bicycle, which is blacklisted in online, both being driven by online protagonists.

Nah, they randomly spawn there, I found them while driving different vehicles.

In at least one of car style pictures there are props that have been removed. I'd hazard a guess that a dev made a "photo booth" where they can automate taking identical pictures.

I think the normal ones are automated, but I am not sure about the cinematic ones, they look like they have fake lights and other stuff they do for marketing, they have police chases and explosions in some of them, I doubt they are automated.

The recent cinematic ones are definitely manually scripted events (or missions), not the generic "parked car" thing that can be automated. Devs and marketing usually take a lot of screenshots during a given game's or DLC's development so I guess they just have fun during that.

Just for anyone that does not know, the Thruster is shaped like a cock and balls which is fitting for the whole penis theme they have going in the name and description. If you look behind the covering of the main body the cage that holds it all together is even shaped like a crude drawing of a cock.

That's where I stack up on snacks more than 90% of the time. Very handy and convenient indeed. You can also purchase body armour from the same room.
